Salesflare

Is Salesflare worth it?

Salesflare is genuinely best for small B2B teams whose reps hate data entry — Salesflare auto-logs emails, meetings and contact details from your inbox and calendar. Skip it if you need deep customisation, a big integration marketplace, or built-in calling and invoicing — Pipedrive or a fuller CRM fit better.

From the Salesflare review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Salesflare cost?

(price re-verified 2026-08-17 against salesflare.com) $29–99/user/mo (Growth ~$29–39, Pro ~$49); 30-day free trial, no card, no onboarding fees and no caps on contacts or pipelines (2026). Always verify the live price.

From the Salesflare review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Salesflare?

It's deliberately lean: no built-in dialer, no quoting or invoicing, and reporting feels basic unless you export. Integrations cover the essentials (Gmail, Outlook, Zapier) but niche tools lean on Zapier — and at higher seat counts the price overlaps fuller CRMs.

Salesflow

Is Salesflow worth it?

Salesflow is genuinely best for outbound sales teams and agencies running LinkedIn sequences across several seats, where the per-seat price drops and the admin panel earns its keep. Skip it if you are one person sending a handful of connection requests a week — the quotas are far above what you need and the seat price is at its highest.

From the Salesflow review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Salesflow cost?

(2026-09-09) Read on Salesflow's own pricing page. It returns a 403 to our server but renders normally in a browser, so these are their published figures rather than third-party ones: Basic $99 per seat from 1 seat, Starter $70 from 5 seats, Pro $39.95 from 20, Agency $29.98 from 50 and Enterprise $24.99 from 100. Agency and Enterprise require an annual commitment billed monthly. Longer terms are discounted on top of that: 15% off at six months and 30% off at twelve. There is no free tier and the trial is seven days without a card. The monthly quotas — around 400 LinkedIn invites, 2,000 follow-up messages and 800 Open InMails — are reported by independent reviews and do not appear on the pricing page itself. Always verify the live price.

From the Salesflow review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Salesflow?

The per-seat rate falls with team size but the monthly bill does not follow it: 19 seats on Starter is $1,330 while 20 seats on Pro is $799, so a team that stops one seat short of a tier pays $531 a month more for less. The same cliff sits at 49-to-50 seats and again at 99-to-100. And the monthly quotas are the real ceiling: 400 invites and 800 Open InMails is a fixed budget, not a starting point.

Salesmessage

Is Salesmessage worth it?

Salesmessage is genuinely best for sales and service teams that want two-way texting and calling in one CRM-linked inbox, and can estimate their monthly credit burn — messages plus call minutes — before they sign. Skip it if your audience doesn't respond to SMS, or your volume is low enough that the fixed 10DLC overhead outweighs the sending. Also skip it if you need a lot of seats cheaply. And skip it if your real usage lands in the gap between the $25 and $329 plans, since the only bridge on offer is a bigger credit bundle on the small plan.

From the Salesmessage review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Salesmessage cost?

(2026-08-08, re-verified on their own pricing page) Repackaged since our last check into two named plans plus Enterprise, metered in message credits. Monthly billing: Basic is $25 a month for 500 credits a month; Pro is $329 a month for 10,000 credits a month; Enterprise is contact-for-pricing with custom credits. Both plans carry a credits dropdown that raises the allowance for a fixed add-on. On Basic, 1,000 credits is +$24, 2,500 is +$74, 5,000 is +$154 and 7,500 is +$224 a month. On Pro the ladder runs from 15,000 credits at +$150 up to 50,000 at +$1,170 a month, in 5,000-credit steps. Annual billing is shown as two months free. Basic is $21 a month billed yearly for 6,000 credits a year (12,000 credits +$252, 30,000 +$756, 60,000 +$1,560, 90,000 +$2,268), and Pro $277 a month billed yearly for 120,000 credits a year (180,000 +$1,512, rising to 600,000 at +$11,796). Seats and numbers are priced apart from the plan: the first seat is free and each additional seat is $10.00 a month or $100.00 a year; the first number is free and each additional number is $5.00 a month or $50.00 a year. The page defines the meter itself: SMS is 1 credit per 160 characters, MMS is 2 credits, calling is 1 credit a minute and call forwarding is 2 credits a minute. A 14-day free trial runs, and a 30-day money-back guarantee is offered, refunded less the message credits used. The page no longer publishes a per-credit overage rate, nor terms for taxes, carrier fees or country availability, so we quote none. Always verify the live price.

From the Salesmessage review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Salesmessage?

Two things changed here and both cost money. First, calling now runs on the same meter as texting — 1 credit a minute, 2 a minute when forwarding — so voice minutes eat the allowance you budgeted for messages. Second, the plan ladder is a canyon: $25 to $329 a month with nothing between them, and the credits dropdown raises your allowance without adding a single seat. Size the credits, not the headcount. An MMS is 2 credits, so one picture message to 1,000 contacts is 2,000 credits — four times the entire monthly allowance on Basic. Seats and numbers bill on top of every plan beyond the first of each: a five-person team on one number is $40 a month over the sticker, and the annual headline of $21 and $277 is a per-month display of a bill charged yearly. Note what the page has stopped saying since our previous check: there is no published per-credit overage rate anymore, so what happens when you run out mid-cycle is not stated where you buy — ask before you commit. And US business texting carries a regulatory layer of its own: 10DLC registration and carrier surcharges bill separately from anything quoted here, and opt-in and opt-out handling stays your legal responsibility — the platform enables compliance, it does not absolve you.

SaneBox

Is SaneBox worth it?

SaneBox is genuinely best for heavy-email professionals drowning in a cluttered inbox who want AI triage that works across any mail client. Skip it if your inbox is manageable or your mail client's built-in filtering already handles it — you don't need to pay for this.

From the SaneBox review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does SaneBox cost?

(read in a live browser on their own pricing page, 18 Aug 2026 — the figures are rendered client-side, so a plain fetch shows nothing) Three plans, and the advertised price is the two-year rate. Snack $4.54/mo billed $109 every 2 years, $5.42/mo billed $65 annually, or $9.49 month to month: 1 email account and 2 of the Sane features. Lunch $7.46 / $9.08 ($109 a year) / $15.99: 2 accounts and 6 features. Dinner $22.04 / $26.58 ($319 a year) / $42.99: 4 accounts and every feature, plus phone support. The free trial is 7 days with all features on up to 4 accounts. Education, non-profit and government get another 25% off on request during the trial. Always verify the live price.

From the SaneBox review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with SaneBox?

It works with any email provider, which is a genuine advantage over the built-in tools in Gmail and Outlook. But you are paying monthly to filter mail that modern clients increasingly sort for free. The value is real only if your inbox is genuinely overwhelming and native filters are not cutting it. Price it on the plan you would actually keep: the headline rate is a two-year commitment, and month to month the same Snack plan is $9.49 rather than $4.54.

Scarcity.AI

Is Scarcity.AI worth it?

Scarcity.AI is genuinely best for Shopify merchants who genuinely run low stock or timed promotions and want to surface that on the product page — the low stock counter is tied to real inventory, which makes it the honest one of the three when your stock actually is low. Skip it if your stock is not low and your sale does not end, because a claim a shopper would read as false is one the FTC treats as deceptive; or your brand sells on trust, where a blinking counter costs more in credibility than it returns.

From the Scarcity.AI review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Scarcity.AI cost?

(read 2026-08-22 on apps.shopify.com, across all three listings) These are three separate apps from one developer, each installed and billed on its own. The Low Stock Counter is $4.99 a month or $41.91 a year at a stated 30% saving, with a 7-day trial; its free tier is Development Stores, meaning development and partner stores only rather than a working free plan. The Visitors Counter is $1.99 a month or $16.71 a year, with a genuine free plan that carries the counter itself, customisation, product-level targeting and holiday presets — the $1.99 adds an upsell banner for your most-viewed product, on a 3-day trial. The Countdown Timer listing shows a free tier and no paid ladder. Charges are in USD and recur every 30 days. Developer Effective Apps, who also publish Blocky, TiXel and Way. Ratings at the time of writing: 4.7 from 84 reviews on the low stock counter, 4.8 from 36 on the visitors counter and 5.0 from 22 on the countdown timer. Always verify the live price.

From the Scarcity.AI review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Scarcity.AI?

All three read real data, which is worth saying before anything else — the low stock counter shows inventory levels and the visitors counter reads unique visitors, live traffic and product views. Nothing here invents a number. But the visitors counter carries two settings that shape which true number a shopper sees. It can show the counter only after a set number of views, so a quiet product simply displays nothing rather than a small figure. And the time frame is yours to set, so 'twelve people viewed this' can mean twelve in five minutes or twelve since yesterday, presented identically. Neither setting fabricates anything; together they let you present a true number that a reasonable shopper would read as something else. That distinction is where the legal line sits. The FTC treats false urgency and scarcity as deceptive practice under section 5 of the FTC Act, and the examples in its dark-patterns guidance are close to these mechanics: a low-stock claim when stock is plentiful, or a cart-activity figure well above the real one. The test is whether a reasonable consumer would be misled about a material fact. That test does not apply to the app; it applies to how you configure it, which means the compliance question lands on your desk rather than the developer's.

Scrolly

Is Scrolly worth it?

Scrolly is genuinely best for Shopify merchants who want a free, one-click back-to-top button on long collection and product pages without touching theme code. Skip it if you run a large catalogue that depends on paginated collection URLs being crawled, your theme already ships its own load-more or filtering behaviour, or you need conversion work rather than navigation polish — this only changes how the page scrolls.

From the Scrolly review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Scrolly cost?

(read 2026-08-25 on apps.shopify.com/custom-scroll-to-top) Free, and free is the only plan. The listing carries no paid tier, no usage meter and no Shopify-plan surcharge — the pricing block that most App Store listings use to sell an upgrade is simply absent here. The app has been on the App Store since March 2020 and carries Shopify's Built for Shopify badge, which is the store's own bar for performance, design and integration. Always verify the live price.

From the Scrolly review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Scrolly?

The two features carry very different risk and the app presents them as one install. Infinite scroll replaces the paginated collection URLs a crawler uses to walk a large catalogue, pushes your footer permanently out of reach, and on some themes collides with the load-more or filtering logic already in the theme — that is a merchandising decision, not a styling toggle. The app also edits Online Store script tags and the theme, so it adds a third-party script to every page and an uninstall can leave remnants. And because there is no paid tier, there is no support contract behind it either: what you get is the vendor's goodwill, which the six-year run on the App Store suggests is real, but it is not something you can buy more of when you need it.

From the Scrolly review — hand-researched, sources on the page.

Seamless.ai

Is Seamless.ai worth it?

Seamless.ai is genuinely best for teams that want a huge real-time contact database and AI list-building for less than ZoomInfo, and can tolerate cleaning the data. Skip it if data accuracy is your top priority (ZoomInfo bounces far less), or you want simple no-contract pricing — the bounce rates and auto-renewal bite.

From the Seamless.ai review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Seamless.ai cost?

(read 2026-09-07 on seamless.ai/pricing and seamless.ai/llms.txt) Still no published amount above the free plan, in a fourth reading. Free: 1 user, 50 credits. Pro: 'Per User', unlimited exports, annual credit packages, '1 Credits = Phone + Email', Contact sales. Enterprise: unlimited users, unlimited exports, custom packages, customer success and enterprise support, Contact sales. The only quantity they publish above Free is in the FAQ: Pro plans start at 10,000 annual credits, and custom accounts get a daily allotment at five or more licence tiers. The FAQ also says there are no setup fees, and that 'the prices shown on this page reflect this annual discount' — on a page that shows none. Four capabilities are marked Add-on in every column, Enterprise included: AI Assistant, Data Enrichment, Autopilot and Buyer Intent Data. Connect (email, calling and tasks) is flagged as included on all plans for a limited time. Third-party guides report an entry around $147 a month for roughly 250 credits and up to $150-500 per user a month; those are not Seamless's numbers, and 250 credits a month is 3,000 a year against a published Pro floor of 10,000. Always verify the live price.

From the Seamless.ai review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Seamless.ai?

Data accuracy is the recurring complaint — independent tests put email deliverability around 74% (20–30% bounce) versus ZoomInfo's ~2–3%, so real cost per usable contact climbs. The buying experience is the other weak spot: sales-led, auto-renew with 30–60 day written cancellation, and reports of charges after a 'confirmed' cancellation.

From the Seamless.ai review — hand-researched, sources on the page.

Section Library

Is Section Library worth it?

Section Library is genuinely best for Shopify merchants who want ready-made theme sections and the occasional AI-generated layout inside the native theme editor, and who can live with an app that has almost no public track record. Skip it if you are rebuilding a store you cannot afford to break and want a page builder with thousands of merchants behind it, or you need your monthly cost known in advance — the credit unit is never defined.

From the Section Library review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Section Library cost?

(read 2026-08-19 on apps.shopify.com/section-library) Free plan: 8 credits a month, access to the free sections only, basic AI generation. Starter $9 a month: 25 credits, all sections accessible, AI section generation, email support. Pro $19 a month: 55 credits, all sections, priority support. Business $29 a month: 90 credits, all sections, priority support. All charges are billed in USD and recur every 30 days, and the listing shows no free trial on the paid tiers — the free plan is the trial. One thing the pricing table never states is what a credit actually buys. Whether one credit is one AI generation, one section added to a theme, or something else is defined nowhere on the listing — and the credit count is the only thing separating the four plans. The vendor's own site, sectionlibrary.com, publishes no prices at all, so the App Store listing we link to is the only ladder on record. Developer Optify, 16 Rue Cuvier, Lyon, France; the app launched 10 October 2023. It carries a 5.0 rating from exactly one App Store review, left in October 2023 by a merchant who had the app installed for four minutes. Always verify the live price.

From the Section Library review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Section Library?

Almost three years on the App Store and one review. The app launched 10 October 2023 and, as of 19 August 2026, exactly one merchant has written about it: a five-star note from October 2023 by someone who had it installed for four minutes. That is not evidence of quality and not evidence of trouble — it is an absence of evidence, and on an app that writes sections into your live theme, that absence is the main thing to weigh. On the same listing page Shopify shows Section Store with 2,760 reviews, also free to install, which is what a track record looks like in this category. Second, the credit is undefined. Every plan is priced in credits and nothing on the listing says what one buys, so you cannot price your own usage before you commit. Third, the AI half of the product is Google's. Sections are generated by Gemini 3.1 Pro, so output quality and consistency shift when Google ships a new model, which is outside the vendor's hands as much as yours. The library half — the 200+ pre-built sections — is the part that depends on nobody else, and it is the part worth judging the app on.

From the Section Library review — hand-researched, sources on the page.

Securify

Is Securify worth it?

Securify is genuinely best for stores seeing real fraud or bot traffic that want country, IP, VPN and email-risk rules plus automatic holds on suspicious orders, and who will review the block log rather than set and forget. Skip it if you are blocking on a hunch rather than on measured fraud — start by reading your order data, because a blocked legitimate customer never tells you they were blocked.

From the Securify review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Securify cost?

(read 2026-08-18 on apps.shopify.com/easy-block-customer-ip-country) Free plan available with a free trial on the paid tiers. Paid runs Pro $5.99, Advanced $9.49 and Growth $49 a month. Rating 4.4 from 68 reviews, and it carries Shopify's “Built for Shopify” badge. The App Store lists it as “Country Blocker Fraud Securify” from siimple.ai. Always verify the live price.

From the Securify review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Securify?

Blocking by country and IP is a blunt instrument and it cuts both ways: every rule that keeps out a fraudster also keeps out a customer travelling, using a corporate VPN, or living behind a carrier NAT. The app is honest enough to give you a live log of what it blocked, and that log is the part to actually read — a rule set nobody reviews quietly costs sales. Also worth separating in your head: blocking bots from your analytics is a reporting fix, while blocking fraud at checkout is a money fix, and the two need different rules.

From the Securify review — hand-researched, sources on the page.

Seel

Is Seel worth it?

Seel is genuinely best for stores selling final-sale, high-consideration or hard-to-size products, where return anxiety is the thing killing the order — merchants report conversion lifting around 5% and shoppers taking the option roughly 24% of the time. Skip it if your margin already absorbs returns comfortably, or you need control over what appears on your own checkout — the fee is set by Seel and shown to your customer either way.

From the Seel review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Seel cost?

Three plans on seel.com/pricing, re-read 7 September 2026: Free at $0 per store per month (no monthly platform fee), Growth at $99 per store per month, Enterprise at custom pricing. Worry-Free Purchase (formerly Return Assurance), Worry-Free Delivery and Extended Warranty are listed as included on all three, so the returns-protection product stays shopper-paid: customers who add it pay roughly $2-$5, reported elsewhere as 3-5% of order value, set by Seel's algorithm. The plans differ on the AI agencies. Free is pay-as-you-go for one agency at $0.99 per resolved ticket, $0.40 per listing, 3% of attributed GMV, $5 per store review and $29 per storefront regulation scan. Growth covers all five with capped usage — up to 100 resolved tickets, 100 listings, $500 attributed GMV, one Voice of Customer report (sentiment across your brand and three competitors), up to four 5-star reviews and one storefront regulation scan — and order tracking for 2,000 orders instead of 250; overage bills at the Free rate card. Their FAQ states the subscription is fixed per store per month and that attributed GMV does not feed it. Enterprise usage scope and commercial terms sit in the merchant agreement. Insurance benefits are provided by Seel Insurance Inc. or Arch Specialty Insurance Company, with availability varying by jurisdiction and state (re-verified 2026-09-07; on 2026-08-02 the page showed no plans or rate card). Always verify the live price.

From the Seel review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Seel?

Two things to weigh, and neither is the price you pay — because you do not pay one. First, you cannot set the fee. Seel's algorithm prices it, so if it lands too high for your niche and shoppers stop opting in, your only lever is switching the feature off entirely. Second, the charge appears on your checkout, not Seel's: shopper-side complaints filed with the BBB describe the fee arriving in the cart with the opt-out easy to miss, and that lands on your brand. Test it as a customer before you enable it. Also check the platform list — Shopify, BigCommerce and Adobe Commerce only, with no WooCommerce, Wix or custom storefront support.

From the Seel review — hand-researched, sources on the page.

Selixer

Is Selixer worth it?

Selixer is genuinely best for Shopify fashion and apparel brands with real ad spend that want profit per SKU and per campaign in one place, and can carry the $299 tier where those features actually live. Skip it if your store is small enough that a spreadsheet still works, you need more than three connected ad accounts without paying $399, or you want a longer public track record than an app launched in May 2026 with one review.

From the Selixer review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Selixer cost?

(re-verified 10 September 2026 on apps.shopify.com/selixer) Three tiers, no free plan, each with a 14-day free trial. Essance $149 a month: two user seats, one connected ad platform, a year of historical data, the ad dashboard with campaigns and trends, stockout, overstock and dead-stock views, an inventory health score, 500 AI credits with top-ups from $25, and a site speed analyzer. Catalyst $299 a month adds four seats, two ad platforms and no date cap on history, the full True Profit waterfall, POAS, CAC and product-level ad revenue, per-product P&L and an SKU action matrix, a WhatsApp inbox with AI agent and campaigns, 50,000 emails a month with branded invoices, and 2,000 AI credits. Aether $399 a month adds eight seats, three ad platforms, all nine profit-leak detectors, multi-touch attribution and ad cohorts, demand forecasting and return on inventory, RFM scoring and retention cohorts, automations with 200,000 emails a month, and 3,000 AI credits. The listing publishes no annual rate, so all three are monthly. Charges are billed in USD, and the listing files recurring and usage-based charges together on the same 30-day cycle — the AI credits are the usage part, with top-ups starting at $25. Developer Akaame Export Private Limited; the app launched 19 May 2026 and carries a single App Store review. Always verify the live price.

From the Selixer review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Selixer?

Read the feature lists rather than the prices and the entry tier stops looking like the product. Essance at $149 a month gives you two seats, one connected ad platform, a year of history and an inventory health score. The full True Profit waterfall, the per-product P&L and the POAS and CAC tracking — the reason anyone installs a profit dashboard — all start on Catalyst at $299. So the real price of what this app is sold on is double the headline. The ad-platform caps decide the tier as much as the features do: one, then two, then three. If you run Meta, Google and TikTok you are on the $399 plan for connectivity alone, whatever your revenue looks like. The monthly figure is also not the whole bill. Each plan carries an AI credit allowance — 500, 2,000 and 3,000 — and the listing sells top-ups from $25, with usage-based charges billed on the same 30-day cycle. Find out what spends a credit before you budget around the headline. And this is a new app. It launched on 19 May 2026 and has one public review. There is nothing bad in the record, but there is barely any record, and this is a tool you hand your cost prices, your ad spend and your margins to. Use the 14-day trial to reconcile its numbers against a month you have already closed in your own books before you trust a dashboard you cannot yet audit.

Seller Investigators

Is Seller Investigators worth it?

Seller Investigators is genuinely best for established FBA sellers with enough inventory movement that discrepancies add up and nobody in-house has time to file case-by-case claims — the contingency model means an audit costs you nothing but the access you grant. Skip it if you are a small seller whose monthly discrepancies are modest, where 25% of a small recovery buys less than the hour it takes to file yourself. Also skip it until you have asked what share of the claim Amazon would have paid automatically, because that is the part of the bill that buys you nothing.

From the Seller Investigators review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Seller Investigators cost?

(2026-08-15, read on their own site) One number, and it is the whole model: a 25% commission, charged only after Amazon has deposited recovered funds in your account. We found it stated twice. Once on the home page — “only pay a 25% commission fee when your money is back with you” — and again in the FAQ: “no risk or upfront commitment, with a 25% recovery fee only after Amazon deposits recovered funds into your account”. The audit is free, takes 48 hours and carries no obligation. There is no subscription and no /pricing page, because there is nothing else to price. Cases they say they cover fall into five groups: inbound shipments (cancelled shipments, receiving discrepancies, carrier damage), items lost in transit or in the warehouse, items damaged or disposed of by Amazon, customer returns (refunds not returned within 60 days, overpayments, the wrong item returned, chargebacks), and overages and discrepancies (removal orders, incorrect weights or dimensions, overcharged orders); unfair reimbursement appears as a sub-case under both the lost and the damaged group. Re-read 29 August 2026: the 25% figure, the free 48-hour audit and the absence of any subscription are unchanged. Always verify the live price.

From the Seller Investigators review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Seller Investigators?

Contingency pricing is the honest kind — you pay only out of money that arrived — but 25% of a recovery is not the same as 25% of a profit, and there is one question that decides whether this is worth it for you. Amazon reimburses some categories automatically, and its policies on that have changed more than once. So ask, before you sign: which of these cases would Amazon have settled on its own within the claim window, and what exactly is the 25% charged on — the gross amount recovered, or what is left after Amazon's own fees? A free audit that finds $20,000 sounds decisive until you learn how much of it was already on its way. Ask for the split, in writing, before the audit turns into an engagement.

From the Seller Investigators review — hand-researched, sources on the page.

Seller Snap

Is Seller Snap worth it?

Seller Snap is genuinely best for Amazon and Walmart sellers past the hobby stage who compete for the Buy Box on a catalog of up to a few thousand SKUs, and want AI repricing and deep seller analytics in one place. The 15-day no-card trial makes it cheap to test against your own listings before any commitment. Skip it if you sell mainly outside Amazon and Walmart, since those are the only two marketplaces supported. Also skip it if your catalog and revenue are small enough that a rules-based repricer at a fraction of the price does the same job, or if what you actually need is multi-channel competitor price monitoring rather than marketplace Buy Box repricing.

From the Seller Snap review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Seller Snap cost?

(re-verified 2026-08-26 on their own pricing page, both the monthly and the annual column; every figure below was read again on that date and none of them had moved since 24 Jul 2026) There are four tiers, and the axis that sets your price is capacity, not features. All four list the same six feature groups: Amazon & Walmart, AI repricing technology, min & max calculation, analytics, connectivity and integrations. The four tiers are set out above; what the page does not tell you is what each step actually buys. Accelerator doubles your revenue ceiling and leaves the SKU count alone, and Standard does the reverse — fifteen times the catalogue with the ceiling removed — while the seller ID and user counts never move at all. So the middle tier is for turnover and the top tier is for range, and a shop that needs neither is paying for the other one. The revenue ceilings themselves are printed without any period attached; Seller Snap told us in writing on 24 Jul 2026 that both are calculated per month, so read them as $15,000 and $30,000 a month. Annual billing saves a flat $900 a year on both Accelerator and Standard — the same money, but 30 percent off the smaller plan against 15 percent off the larger one. Every tier carries a 15-day trial with no credit card, and in the monthly view each price is labelled 'Starting at'. Seller Snap confirmed to us in writing on 24 Jul 2026 that readers coming through our link get 10% off for their first three months; it runs through the link, there is no code to enter. Update: asked directly, Seller Snap confirmed by email on 24 July 2026 that the Starter and Accelerator revenue caps are calculated per month. Their pricing page still does not say so — we are passing on the vendor's answer, not something you can verify on the page yourself. One thing on the page has changed and it is not a price: a banner above the plans offers 'your first month for only $1 when you subscribe before 2026', a deadline that had already passed when we read it on 26 Aug 2026, so treat it as decoration rather than an offer until support confirms it. Always verify the live price.

From the Seller Snap review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Seller Snap?

Read the caps before you read the prices, because the caps are what you are actually buying. Two of them deserve scrutiny. First, the revenue limits — $15,000 on Starter, $30,000 on Accelerator — are printed with no period attached on the pricing page. We asked, and Seller Snap confirmed to us in writing on 24 Jul 2026 that both caps are calculated per month. That is the reading that costs you money. $15,000 a month is roughly $500 a day, so a seller who already clears that sits above Starter before signing up — and $30,000 a month puts the ceiling of Accelerator within reach of a shop doing $1,000 a day. Measure your own monthly revenue against the tier first, because the page will not do it for you. Second, the SKU limit sits at 1,000 on both of the lower tiers, so catalog growth alone — not revenue, not users — can push you up a step. And the steps are steep: leaving Accelerator for Standard means $425/month annually or $500 monthly, roughly 2.4 times what you were paying, for capacity rather than for any feature you did not already have. The cheapest door is also not quite $100: Starter is annual-billing only, so the lowest month-to-month entry into the product is $250/month. Finally, 'Starting at' appears above every monthly price on the vendor's own page — treat all of these as floors and confirm your own quote. Worth checking first, though: Amazon already includes a rule-based repricer. Automate Pricing comes with the Professional selling plan and supports rules such as Competitive Featured Offer and Competitive Lowest Price with a seller-set price floor, so if your problem is simply matching the competitive price without going below cost, test that before paying for anything. And note what sets your tier: their FAQ says pricing follows the total number of SKUs in your Seller Central account, not the active ones, so a dormant catalogue costs you money. One more thing to time correctly. In September 2026 Seller Snap began telling affiliates that its most advanced repricing engine yet had just launched, built on the premise that Amazon no longer awards one Buy Box but thousands of local ones, buyer by buyer and city by city. Their own repricing-engine page, read on 3 Sep 2026, is more careful than that: it says a redesigned app today, a new repricing engine coming soon, and it offers a waitlist and an early-access form rather than the engine itself. What has actually shipped is the redesigned app — a live Buy Box filter at SKU level, one preset across every store, repricing from a phone, and historical inventory value tracked over time. The local Buy Box logic sits behind that, still ahead of the product rather than in it. So judge the subscription on what the app does today; if the local pricing engine is the reason you are signing up, ask support for a ship date in writing before you pay for a year of it.

Sellfy

Is Sellfy worth it?

Sellfy is genuinely best for creators selling digital products, subscriptions and print-on-demand who want a simple store with zero platform commission. Skip it if you sell occasionally (percentage-fee platforms like Gumroad cost nothing idle), or you need a full e-commerce ecosystem (Shopify territory).

From the Sellfy review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Sellfy cost?

(re-verified 2026-09-07) Starter is $29/mo billed monthly or $22/mo billed yearly, for up to $10k of sales a year; Business $79 or $59, up to $50k; Premium $159 or $119, up to $200k; above that Sellfy quotes you. Yearly billing saves 25%, there is a 14-day trial, a 30-day money-back guarantee and no free tier. 0% transaction fees on every plan, though PayPal or Stripe still take roughly 2.9% + 30c per transaction. The revenue limits are soft: Sellfy's own pricing.md says the store is never suspended and you are never forced to upgrade, while the page's FAQ says you are expected to upgrade and that Sellfy may instead charge a 2% overage fee on revenue above the limit. Read in US dollars from a Netherlands connection. Always verify the live price.

From the Sellfy review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Sellfy?

The honest mechanic is the revenue ladder: plans cap by your ANNUAL SALES, so success moves you up. But the caps are soft - Sellfy's FAQ says it may charge 2% on revenue above your limit rather than forcing an upgrade, so ask whether that applies to you before jumping a tier. The 0% transaction fee is genuinely rare and beats percentage-taking platforms at volume; below a few hundred in monthly sales the flat subscription is the tax instead, and your processor still takes about 2.9% + 30c regardless.

Sendcloud

Is Sendcloud worth it?

Sendcloud is genuinely best for European e-commerce stores that want easy multi-carrier shipping (DHL, PostNL, Colissimo, GLS, DPD), branded tracking and a returns portal live in under 30 minutes. Skip it if you ship mainly in the US, need inventory management and complex fulfilment, or you're a very high-volume shipper wanting deep customisation — ShipStation fits that better.

How much does Sendcloud cost?

(price re-verified 2026-08-31 against the vendor's own pricing page, read from a European exit) Free plan €0/mo: up to 20 parcels a month, no courier contract, no subscription, €0.50 a label beyond that. Paid tiers at the monthly rate: Lite €28/mo + €0.10 per label, Growth €87/mo + €0.09, Premium €175/mo + €0.08, Pro €639/mo + €0.07. Every tier also has a MONTHLY label cap (Lite 400, Growth 1,000, Premium 10,000, Pro 30,000) and past it each extra label costs €0.15 on top of the plan rate. Users: 1 free, 3 Lite, 5 Growth, 10 Premium, unlimited Pro. 14-day free trial, no card. The page advertises a yearly option at -20% but the discounted figures are not in the served HTML. You can only ship FROM eight European countries. (2026) Always verify the live price.

From the Sendcloud review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Sendcloud?

The pricing has layers — a per-label fee on top of the subscription, plus carrier surcharges that can land on invoices weeks later. It's built out-of-the-box, so deep customisation is limited, there's no inventory management (ShipStation has it), and high-volume shippers (€12k+/mo) plus pickup-reliability complaints suggest it's happiest with small-to-mid EU stores.

Sentaro

Is Sentaro worth it?

Sentaro is genuinely best for SMBs on Google Workspace/M365 that want an extra AI layer against phishing and BEC without infrastructure changes. Skip it if you already run a mature email-security stack (Ironscales/Abnormal-class), or nobody internally will review the flagged-mail queue.

From the Sentaro review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Sentaro cost?

(read 5 September 2026 on sentaro.com, pricing section) Two plans. Professional is $6 per user per month billed monthly, or $5.50 per user per month billed annually — the toggle labels that discount as -8%. A currency switcher sits beside the billing toggle and offers the identical numerals in euros: €6 and €5,50. That is not a conversion, so a European buyer pays roughly 15% more for the same seat. Enterprise publishes no figure at all, only 'Custom pricing'. What Professional includes: real-time email risk analysis, Threat / Suspicious / Safe labels in the inbox, phishing, spoofing and impersonation detection, working directly inside Gmail and Outlook, and organization-wide deployment. What sits above it on Enterprise: SSO / SCIM, advanced admin controls, API access, custom policies, dedicated support, and compliance and audit support. Sentaro connects to Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 through the API rather than by changing MX records. History: until August 2026 no price was published at all. Always verify the live price.

From the Sentaro review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Sentaro?

The category claim (AI catches what filters miss) is plausible — Microsoft/Google native filtering misses sophisticated BEC — but any vendor's accuracy percentage is measured on their own test set, not your mail flow. The honest procurement move: run their trial alongside your current filtering, count real catches and false positives for two weeks, and price per mailbox against the incumbents with that data in hand.

SEO Space

Is SEO Space worth it?

SEO Space is genuinely best for Squarespace freelancers and studios billing for several client sites. Pricing by number of websites rather than per seat, multi-site dashboards and white-label PDF reports are things the big per-seat SEO suites never bothered to build for Squarespace. And the extension tells you where the setting actually lives in the editor. Skip it if you run a single Squarespace 7.1 site and have no clients. Squarespace's own free SEO panel, AI-generated descriptions and AI Visibility now cover much of what you would be paying for. And the free plan here will tell you whether the paid layer adds anything for your site before you spend.

How much does SEO Space cost?

(2026-08-17, re-verified on their own homepage pricing block) One figure is published: Pro, the default position on their website slider, is $33.33/mo billed annually, labelled MOST POPULAR and covering 5 websites. The slider runs 1, 3, 5, 10, 20 and unlimited websites, but the amounts for the other positions are rendered per selection and do not appear in the delivered page, so we do not quote them. Yearly billing is sold as "4 Months Free", which means the equivalent monthly rate is higher than the headline — the page does not print it next to the plan. Pricing is by number of websites, not per seat, and their own line "All Plans Include Every Feature" means a higher position buys site slots rather than extra capability. Free entry is real: a scan of up to 50 pages with no card, plus a 7-day trial of Pro, also with no card. An earlier reading (21 Jul 2026) recorded named Starter/Pro/Expert tiers at 1/3/5 sites with their own amounts; the page no longer shows that structure, so those figures have been withdrawn rather than carried forward. Always verify the live price.

From the SEO Space review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with SEO Space?

Squarespace has been quietly absorbing the job this tool was invented for. The platform's own SEO panel, checklist, sitemaps and structured data are free, and its AI-suggested titles, descriptions and alt text are available on Fluid Engine 7.1. On 7 July 2026 it announced AI Visibility, brand tracking across AI search, included on 7.1 plans with no extra subscription. It is metered against plan-varying AI credits rather than unlimited. If you own a single Squarespace site, a large share of what you would pay for here is now a friendlier wrapper around something the platform already does. The tool earns its keep on volume and client work, not on one site. Note too what their own pricing block says out loud — 'All Plans Include Every Feature' — so moving up the ladder buys site slots, not a better tool.

SEOmatic

Is SEOmatic worth it?

SEOmatic is genuinely best for Shopify stores under 5,000 products that want image compression, alt text, auto-generated meta tags, schema and sitemaps from one app on a flat monthly fee, and would rather not pay per AI credit. Skip it if your catalogue is larger than 5,000 products, or you want the safest bet in a category where three rivals on the same page carry 850 to 2,400 reviews at 4.9-5.0 against this app's 4.4 over 114.

From the SEOmatic review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does SEOmatic cost?

(read 2026-08-19 on apps.shopify.com/minifier and on seomatic.io) Four tiers, and the only thing that changes between the three paid ones is how many products they cover. Free: 10 products, 50 image optimisations, AI SEO audit, auto-pilot AI meta title and description, schema markup, HTML sitemap. Starter $15 a month or $144 a year (save 20%): 500 products, unlimited image optimiser, broken links, XML and HTML sitemaps, 14-day free trial. Basic $25 a month or $240 a year: 2,000 products. Advanced $40 a month or $384 a year: 5,000 products. All charges are billed in USD and recur every 30 days. The vendor's own pricing page at seomatic.io publishes the identical ladder, which is worth noting because the two often disagree — here they do not. There is no plan above 5,000 products on either page, so a larger catalogue has no listed price at all. Developer Aheadworks, 12495 S Parkland Bay Trail, Parkland, Florida; the app launched 18 August 2015 and carries a 4.4 average over 114 App Store reviews, and it holds Shopify's 'Built for Shopify' badge. Always verify the live price.

From the SEOmatic review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with SEOmatic?

This app is eleven years old and has 114 reviews. That is the number to sit with. On the same listing page Shopify shows three direct rivals. SEOLab is 5.0 over 2,368 reviews and free, Tiny SEO 5.0 over 2,261 and free to install, and Smart SEO 4.9 over 851 with a free plan. All three carry between seven and twenty times the review volume, all are rated higher, and none of them charges by product count. SEOmatic's 4.4 is a real rating from real merchants, but it is the weakest track record on its own page. The distribution behind that 4.4 matters too: 81% five stars against 8% one star, with almost nothing in the middle. The most substantial recent review, from March 2025, is a merchant of six months saying it appears to work on images and nothing else, and that support is difficult and slow. The vendor replied that the reports do exist, and asked them to get in touch. An older one-star from a merchant who lasted seventeen minutes reads 'Paid for it to tell me 0% savings'. Both are about the same thing — what the app actually did after installation was not visible to the person paying for it. And the product cap is a hard ceiling, not a soft one. There is no tier above 5,000 products on the listing or on seomatic.io, so if your catalogue is larger than that, the published ladder simply does not have a row for you.

Serpstat

Is Serpstat worth it?

Serpstat is genuinely best for solo SEOs and small in-house teams who want the whole workflow — keywords, rankings, audit, competitors — under one subscription at roughly a third of what the incumbents charge, and who will judge the data on their own market during the trial. Skip it if your work depends on deep backlink analysis, since the 10,000 results per report ceiling does not move no matter which tier you buy; or you need more than three seats, because seats are not sold separately and the next tier roughly doubles the bill.

From the Serpstat review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Serpstat cost?

(2026-07-24, read on their own pricing page) Four plans, and the page opens on the annual view — so the first number you see is not the month-to-month price. Individual $69/month, or $50 on annual billing. Team $129, or $100 annually. Team x2 $209, or $169. Agency $499, or $410. There is a hidden middle step: two dropdowns inside the Team column (position checks 50,000 or 99,999, API credits 200,000 or 400,000) move Team to $169/month monthly or $135 annually, so Team is really three price points. Seats are capped rather than sold: Individual is single-user, Team 3, Team x2 6, Agency 30, and no per-seat price is published anywhere — a fourth user means the next tier. The limits matter more than the prices: 100 searches a day on Individual (500 / 1,000 / 5,000 above it), export rows 50,000 a month, and no API at all on the entry plan. The 7-day trial takes a card, charges $1 to verify, turns on auto-renewal and bills the plan after seven days unless you cancel. Re-verified 2026-08-26: the four annual prices are unchanged, and the page now heads the table with 'save up to 27% with annual discount' and prints the saving per plan — $228, $348, $484 and $1,068 a year. That is the arithmetic that turns $50, $100, $169 and $410 back into $69, $129, $209 and $499, which matters because the monthly column itself is not in the page's HTML at all; only the annual one renders. The comparison table still carries the two-value Team column (position checks 50,000 or 99,999, API credits 200,000 or 400,000), so the hidden middle step is still there, but its price is printed nowhere on the page today. Three limits worth reading before anyone picks Individual: Site Audit does no JavaScript rendering on that plan, it scans at most 5,000 pages, and its data retention figure is 2 where Team gets 10 and Agency 100. Always verify the live price.

From the Serpstat review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Serpstat?

The thing you are actually buying is data coverage, and that is the one thing you cannot verify — Serpstat's own published figures do not agree with each other. Re-read on 24 July 2026, their homepage says 529 billion backlinks, their data hub says 1.1 trillion, and their backlinks page says 1.7 trillion in the prose while its own spec block on that same page says 1.1 trillion. The keyword count reads 8.62 billion on one page and 7.46 billion on another. That is not evidence the data is thin; it is evidence that these numbers cannot serve as a basis for your decision. Judge it on your own searches during the trial instead. Two other things to weigh. Backlink reports are capped at 10,000 results per report on Team, Team x2 and Agency alike, so paying from $129 to $499 buys more of everything except a deeper backlink report. And 'maximum pages to scan' in a single crawl (5,000 / 25,000 / 50,000) is a far smaller number than the monthly 'pages to audit' allowance it sits next to.

ServiceM8

Is ServiceM8 worth it?

ServiceM8 is genuinely best for trades and service businesses with a crew, where per-user pricing elsewhere punishes you for having enough people — this is one of the few tools in the category that does not. Skip it if you are a sole trader doing a handful of jobs a month — the free tier covers that, and at low job volume the paid tiers are buying capacity rather than features.

How much does ServiceM8 cost?

(2026-08-30, re-read on their own pricing page from a US exit, USD) Priced by jobs per month, with unlimited users on every paid tier. Free $0: 1 user, 30 jobs a month, 10 AI uses a day. Starter $29: unlimited users, 50 jobs, unlimited AI uses a day. Growing $79: 150 jobs. Premium $149: 500 jobs. Premium Plus $349: 1,500+ jobs. A 14-day free trial is offered. The plan amounts sit in the page markup rather than in its flat text, so a plain text scrape of this page returns no prices. Always verify the live price.

From the ServiceM8 review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with ServiceM8?

Unlimited users on every paid tier is genuinely unusual in this category and worth saying first: put your whole crew in without the bill moving. The meter is jobs instead, and jobs are the thing you least control. Fifty a month on Starter is roughly two a working day, which a two-van operation passes in a busy month — and the next step is not a small one, it is $29 to $79. Count your jobs in your best month rather than your average, because that is the month that will bump you, and a seasonal trade will spend part of the year paying for a tier it does not need. The free tier at 30 jobs and one user is a real trial, not a plan.

Shiftie

Is Shiftie worth it?

Shiftie is genuinely best for shift-based businesses (hospitality, retail, leisure) that want quick rota building, clock-ins and leave management without spreadsheet pain. Skip it if you need full HR, payroll and performance management in one system, or your team doesn't work in shifts at all.

From the Shiftie review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Shiftie cost?

(price re-verified 2026-09-05) £2.75 per active employee per month for the first 30, then £1.50 for each employee above 30 — the reduced rate is marginal, not retroactive. Measured on the vendor's own pricing slider: 1 employee £2.75, 5 £13.75, 10 £27.50, 15 £41.25, 30 £82.50, 31 £84.00, 50 £112.50, 100 £187.50, 150 £262.50, 199 £336.00. At 200 employees the slider stops quoting and switches to Custom Pricing. There is no minimum and no entry-plan floor: one employee costs £2.75. Monthly billing only — no annual option is offered anywhere on the page. Billing is in arrears: at the start of each month you are charged for users marked active during the previous month. 28-day free trial, no card details required, and 7-day UK-based support included. Note the domain move: shiftie.co.uk now redirects to shiftie.co. Always verify the live price.

From the Shiftie review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Shiftie?

It's focused, affordable rota software — which means it does scheduling, clock-ins, leave and swaps well, but it isn't a full HR or payroll platform, so a growing business will still bolt on payroll and HR tools around it. Pricing is genuinely low, but the per-active-employee model means a large seasonal team in a busy month costs more than the headline suggests. For shift-based scheduling specifically, it's a clean, cheap fit.

Shipdock

Is Shipdock worth it?

Shipdock is genuinely best for Shopify merchants shipping in Central and Eastern Europe who want pickup points, multi-carrier label printing and cash-on-delivery tracking in one app rather than one integration per carrier — and who are on Shopify Plus, where the pickup-point picker sits inside checkout instead of after it. Skip it if your carriers are not in its list, which is the first thing to check, since the app's centre of gravity is Packeta and the Central European networks; or you need a label only occasionally, when a CSV export and your carrier's portal cost nothing.

From the Shipdock review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Shipdock cost?

(read 2026-08-22 on apps.shopify.com/packeta) Three tiers, no free plan, and the entry tier names its own limitation. Lite is $9.99 a month or $107.88 a year and is labelled 'only CSV': pickup point and home delivery, an email reminder, the pickup-point widget on the thank-you and order-status pages, unlimited carriers across more than twenty, and an order export to custom CSV. Basic is $14.99 or $161.89 a year and is the first tier that prints shipping labels, adding parcels created automatically after fulfilment and cash-on-delivery payment tracking. Shopify Plus is $24.99 or $269.89 and moves the pickup-point widget into the checkout itself rather than the pages after it. Annual billing saves a stated 10% on each. Trials are five days on Lite and Basic and ten on Plus. Charges are in USD and recur every 30 days. Developer happyapps.cz; the app sits in Shopify's delivery and pickup category and had 42 reviews at a 5.0 rating at the time of writing, 41 of them five-star. Always verify the live price.

From the Shipdock review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Shipdock?

Read the carrier list against your own country before anything else. The listing slug is 'packeta', the developer is happyapps.cz, and cash-on-delivery tracking is a headline feature — all three point at Central and Eastern Europe, where Packeta and Zásilkovna are everyday carriers and COD is a normal way to pay. More than twenty carriers are supported, but a US or UK merchant should confirm theirs is among them before the five-day trial starts. The second thing is the trial length against the job. Five days on Lite and Basic is short for a shipping integration, because the test that matters is a real order going out with a real label to a real address. Install it on a day you are actually shipping, not on a quiet Sunday.

Shippo

Is Shippo worth it?

Shippo is genuinely best for e-commerce sellers shipping across multiple carriers who want rate comparison, label printing and tracking in one place with genuine rate discounts. Skip it if you ship a handful of packages monthly through one carrier (their native tools are fine), or you're big enough for direct carrier contracts to beat aggregated rates.

Read on their own pricing page, 6 September 2026. Starter is free: up to 30 labels a month, discounted USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL Express rates, 1 user login, and 5¢ per label if you connect your own carrier account. Pro is banded by monthly label volume, priced monthly or annually: 1-200 labels $19/mo or $205/yr; 201-500 $29 or $313; 501-1,000 $54 or $583; 1,001-2,500 $79 or $853; 2,501-5,000 $139 or $1,501; 5,001-10,000 $199 or $2,149. Annual billing saves about 10% at every band. Labels beyond 10,000 a month cost $0.08 each. Pro makes your own carrier accounts free and adds branded tracking, chat and phone support. Premier is contact-us: unlimited shipments, 15+ logins, a dedicated account manager. Non-US address validation is metered separately at 9¢, 8¢ and 6¢ per validation on Starter, Pro and Premier. API calls not tied to a Shippo label, and the Estimate API, bill at API Starter rates. Always verify the live price.

From the Shippo review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Shippo?

The pricing is honest but layered. The free tier stops at 30 labels a month, and its 5¢ per label on your own carrier accounts quietly adds up. Pro looks like a flat $17 a month until you read the comparison table: it covers up to 10,000 shipments and then bills $0.08 for every label beyond that, so a good sales month adds a variable line to a subscription that reads as fixed. Address validation outside the US is metered too, at 9¢, 8¢ or 6¢ depending on plan. The real money is elsewhere anyway — in the carrier rate discounts, which vary by lane and weight. Run your five most common shipments through it against your current rates; that comparison decides, not the subscription price.

Shoeboxed

Is Shoeboxed worth it?

Shoeboxed is genuinely best for businesses drowning in PAPER receipts — trades, field crews, owners with shoeboxes of history — who want them humanly digitized, verified and IRS-ready. Its unique trick is the Magic Envelope, where you literally mail a stuffed envelope of paper receipts and humans digitize them. That trick is also the meter to watch: envelope frequency defines the tiers, and heavy paper businesses land in the $179/mo bracket quickly. If your receipts are already digital, cheaper scan-only apps exist; Shoeboxed earns its price precisely when physical paper is the problem.

Shorby

Is Shorby worth it?

Shorby is genuinely best for creators and businesses that sell via messenger conversations or retarget link-in-bio traffic with ad pixels. Skip it if you just need a links page (free tools abound), or your audience doesn't click through to chat apps.

From the Shorby review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Shorby cost?

(re-verified 2026-09-06 at dash.shorby.com/pricing) Three paid plans, no free plan on the table. Rocket $15/mo, or $12/mo billed annually ($36 off the year); Pro $29/mo, or $24/mo annually ($60 off); Agency $99/mo, or $82/mo annually ($204 off). Pages included: 5 on Rocket, 50 on Pro, 250 on Agency, with Agency adding Projects and Teams from three up. Direct messenger buttons, Click Insights and Shor Rewards are on all three; Google Analytics, custom domains (per project) and Dynamic Feeds (5 per page) start at Pro. The table states all prices are in USD and all sales are final. Note that the marketing site's own /pricing/ page renders nothing — this table is only reachable at dash.shorby.com. Always verify the live price.

From the Shorby review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Shorby?

In a category where the market leader has a generous free plan, Shorby charges from day one, so it has to earn the gap. Its case rests on two genuinely differentiated features: messenger deep-links, one tap into WhatsApp/Telegram chats, and retargeting pixels firing on every click. If you use neither, Linktree's free tier wins; if messenger-first selling or ad retargeting is your funnel, the $15 pays for itself.

Shore

Is Shore worth it?

Shore is genuinely best for salons, barbers, spas, wellness studios, physical therapists, craftspeople and local retailers that want bookings via Google and Instagram, no-show-reducing reminders, marketing and (optionally) POS in one fixed-price system. Skip it if you just need a simple scheduling link (a Calendly-class tool is lighter) or you run a business without appointments at all.

From the Shore review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Shore cost?

(2026-09-07, read on their own pricing pages in English and German, in euros) Three packages, each showing two figures that are a billing choice rather than a discount: the higher is the monthly-billing rate, the lower is the rate per month when you pay for the year. Starter EUR 59.90 / EUR 49.90 with 2 employees included, Growth EUR 89.90 / EUR 79.90 with 4, and Team EUR 129.90 / EUR 119.90 with unlimited employees. The toggle reads 'Yearly (Save EUR 120)' against 'Monthly', and EUR 120 is exactly the EUR 10 monthly gap over twelve months. Card payments run at up to 1.35% on every tier. There is a 14-day free trial. POS hardware is published separately: the Shore Complete bundle is EUR 1,499, with a card reader at EUR 69, dock EUR 49, stand EUR 199, cash drawer EUR 99 and Epson receipt printer EUR 269. Add-ons: a professional website at EUR 65/month and a branded web app at EUR 40/month. The POS is only sold in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Paying yearly carries a 12-month initial term; monthly billing cancels with 14 days' notice to the end of the period. Always verify the live price.

From the Shore review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Shore?

It's built for local appointment businesses, and that's also the boundary: the integration list is short (calendar, Google, Instagram, Meta), and once you add POS and payments the monthly total climbs well past the entry price. If you only need a booking link, this is more machine than you need.

Signal House

Is Signal House worth it?

Signal House is genuinely best for teams sending real SMS volume in the US who already know what an A2P 10DLC campaign is and want a cheaper per-segment rate than Twilio’s list without giving up published pricing. The volume ladder is genuinely steep — from $0.0065 down to $0.0030 — so the case gets stronger the more you send, and the number discounts above 500 numbers suit anyone running many local presences. Skip it if you are mainly buying voice, because there is no published rate to compare and no way to model the cost. Skip it too if your volume is small: at a few thousand messages a month the per-segment saving against Twilio is a few dollars, and you would be trading a mature ecosystem and documentation for that. And if you are not already registered for A2P 10DLC, budget the brand and campaign fees plus the approval wait before you compare anything — those apply wherever you send from.

From the Signal House review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Signal House cost?

(2026-08-07, read on their own pricing page) Usage-based, no platform subscription. SMS on a 10DLC local number costs $0.0065 per segment with no minimum, falling on volume: $0.0050 from 500k segments a month, $0.0045 from 1m, $0.0040 from 2m, $0.0035 from 5m and $0.0030 from 10m. Numbers are $1.00 a month, dropping to $0.50 between 500 and 1,000 numbers and $0.25 above 1,000. MMS is $0.0200 per segment, $0.0170 above 500k. Toll-free numbers are $1.00 a month with SMS from $0.0079 down to $0.0050. Number lookup is $0.005. A2P 10DLC registration is billed separately: $4.50 for the brand, $15 one-time per campaign, then $1.50 a month for a low-volume campaign or $10 a month for a standard one. Carrier fees are passed through on top: outbound AT&T $0.0035, Verizon $0.0045, T-Mobile $0.0045. A2P approval is quoted at 72 hours or less, dropping to 48 hours above 500k segments a month. Always verify the live price.

From the Signal House review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Signal House?

Two things are missing from a page that is otherwise unusually specific. The first is voice. The product is sold as an SMS and Voice API and the pricing page publishes no voice rate at all — nor short code pricing. If the voice half is why you are looking, you cannot budget it from public information and will have to ask. The second is the arithmetic behind the Twilio comparison, which is the whole pitch. Take the entry rate with no minimum. Signal House is $0.0065 a segment against Twilio’s $0.0083, which reads as a 22% saving. But carrier fees are a pass-through and identical either way: add T-Mobile’s $0.0045 to both and you get $0.0110 against $0.0128 — about 14%, not 22%. Numbers narrow it further, $1.00 against $1.15. So the saving is real and it is worth having at volume, but it is a discount on the platform margin rather than on your bill, and the headline does not make that distinction. On a million segments a month that difference is roughly $1,800 a month against Twilio’s list — worth switching for, provided the voice side does not turn out to be where the money goes. Worth noting on the other side: Signal House prints its A2P 10DLC registration fees on the pricing page, and Twilio’s equivalent page says only that fees apply and points elsewhere. Being able to see the whole bill before you sign is not nothing.

Signeasy

Is Signeasy worth it?

Signeasy is genuinely best for small teams that want straightforward unlimited sending and signing per seat, with contract management one tier up. Skip it if you only sign occasional documents, or you are a solo sender at volume — Personal is single-seat and sending-limited.

From the Signeasy review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Signeasy cost?

(price re-verified 2026-08-17 against signeasy.com) (2026) Free trial. Personal $10/mo billed yearly ($120) — single seat, built around signing. Business $20/mo per seat billed yearly ($240/seat) adds unlimited sending and collaboration; Business Pro $30/mo per seat ($360/seat) adds end-to-end contract management with roles. Always verify the live price.

From the Signeasy review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Signeasy?

The $10 Personal plan is annual-billed and single-seat — and note that sign-unlimited is not send-unlimited: proper unlimited sending starts at Business, $20 per seat on a yearly commitment, while contract-management features gate at Business Pro, $30 per seat.

SignNow

Is SignNow worth it?

SignNow is genuinely best for teams that sign at volume and want unlimited users at a flat rate — roughly 60% under DocuSign for the same core job. Skip it if you need the deepest enterprise integrations and workflows — that's where the incumbent still earns its premium.

From the SignNow review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does SignNow cost?

Three seat plans, read on signnow.com/pricing.md on 7 September 2026: Business at $8 per user a month on annual billing, Business Premium at $15 and Enterprise at $30, with month-to-month priced higher (read at EUR 20 / EUR 30 / EUR 50 from the EU on 5 September 2026). A Site License is billed at $1.50 per signature invite instead of per seat, aimed at organisations sending 1,000+ documents a year, and is where SSO, full API access and phone support appear; HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11 and QES are add-ons on top. airSlate Business Cloud is $50 per user a month and bundles signNow with airSlate, pdfFiller and US Legal Forms. signNow states unlimited users on all paid plans and no envelope cap. Free 7-day trial, no credit card required. Always verify the live price.

What is the catch with SignNow?

It's built for straightforward everyday signing — if you need deep contract-lifecycle (CLM) features, a heavier platform fits better.

Similarweb

Is Similarweb worth it?

Similarweb is genuinely best for a single analyst or marketer who needs competitor traffic and channel estimates often enough to justify $125 a month, and teams who are prepared to negotiate an annual contract for more than one seat. Skip it if you want a quick check on one competitor — the free tier and public estimates cover that, and the cheapest paid plan is $125 a month for a single user.

From the Similarweb review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Similarweb cost?

(read 2026-08-25 on their own pricing page) The entrepreneur plans are published: $125 per month on annual billing for Competitive Intelligence, $333 for Competitive Intel & SEO & AEO, and $542 for Competitive Intel, SEO & AEO & Ads — or $199, $399 and $649 respectively on monthly billing, each for a single user. Included history differs by plan and is easy to miss: 3 months on the entry plan, 6 months on the two above it. What is not published is the business and enterprise tab: it carries no figure at all and routes every tier to 'Talk to sales' for a custom package, and the FAQ repeats that premium features require one. A free trial is offered without a stated length. Up to 37 months of data history is sold as an add-on rather than an inclusion, and API access is either standalone or inside a custom package. Always verify the live price.

From the Similarweb review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Similarweb?

Similarweb does publish a price — $125 a month for one seat on annual billing, or $199 if you pay monthly. What it does not publish is anything above one seat: the business and enterprise tab carries no figure at all and routes straight to a sales call, where the number depends on what they think you can pay. So the decision splits in two. One analyst can price this today and start a trial without speaking to anyone. A team walks into a negotiation, and should walk in with a ceiling already written down — plus the two line items priced apart from the seats: 37 months of data history is an add-on, and API access is quoted separately.

SimpleTexting

Is SimpleTexting worth it?

SimpleTexting is genuinely best for US businesses that want straightforward, compliant SMS marketing and two-way texting with rollover credits. Skip it if you don't have a real opted-in list or a compelling offer — texting a cold audience burns money and trust.

From the SimpleTexting review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does SimpleTexting cost?

(re-verified 2026-08-17) Credit-based by monthly volume, from $39/mo (500 credits) up to about $909/mo (50,000), with SMS = 1 credit and MMS = 3. Yearly billing saves 20% — the entry plan is $39 a month billed yearly at $398.40 — and unused credits roll over. Extra credits beyond your plan run 5.5 cents each. Every paid plan includes three user seats, with additional seats at $20/mo each and additional numbers at $10/mo; a local number is $10/mo plus a $4 activation fee, and there is a one-off $4 carrier (10DLC) registration. Toll-free and short-code options sit above that, with short codes beginning at $1,000/mo. Nonprofits, churches and other tax-exempt organisations get 15% off any monthly plan. Always verify the live price.

From the SimpleTexting review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with SimpleTexting?

The credit model plus US carrier (10DLC) fees and per-number/per-seat add-ons mean the sticker isn't the whole bill — and SMS marketing only works with genuine opt-in and a real offer, not blasting a cold list.

SimplyBook.me

Is SimplyBook.me worth it?

SimplyBook.me is genuinely best for service businesses that take appointments and want a booking page, reminders and online payment without building one. Skip it if you only need a simple calendar link for one person — a free scheduling link does that without a booking system on top.

What is the catch with SimplyBook.me?

The plan ladder is set by bookings per month and by how many custom features you may switch on, and those two ceilings move independently — so you can outgrow a plan on features while nowhere near the booking cap, or the reverse. Free and Basic also carry SimplyBook.me branding on your booking page; white-label starts at Premium.

Smartli

Is Smartli worth it?

Smartli is genuinely best for e-commerce sellers who want an affordable all-in-one AI suite to draft product listings, ad copy, SEO text and basic brand assets in one place. Skip it if you need best-in-class depth in one area (a specialist copy or image tool), or you won't edit and fact-check AI output before it ships.

From the Smartli review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Smartli cost?

(re-verified 5 Aug 2026, on smartli.ai) Monthly: Starter $39, Pro $59, Empire $99, Unicorn $299, each with a 7-day free trial. Switch to annual billing and Starter disappears from the table; the rest become Pro $24/mo (billed annually at $288), Empire $57/mo ($684) and Unicorn $79/mo ($948). Starter was $29/mo when we first checked, so the entry price has gone up. Always verify the live price.

From the Smartli review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Smartli?

Smartli bundles nine AI tools — copy, SEO, images, logos — into one suite, and that breadth is also the honest catch: each individual tool is competent rather than best-in-class, so a team that leans hard on one job may outgrow it toward a specialist. And like all AI copy, its product descriptions and ad copy need a human edit and a fact-check — never publish specs or claims it invents about your product. For a store that wants many content jobs handled cheaply in one place, it's efficient.

SmartSuite

Is SmartSuite worth it?

SmartSuite is genuinely best for teams consolidating projects, CRM and operations into one flexible, database-driven work-management platform. Skip it if you need a lightweight to-do or a single-purpose tool — SmartSuite's breadth is wasted and its learning curve isn't worth it.

From the SmartSuite review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does SmartSuite cost?

(re-verified 2026-08-17) No free plan — a 14-day trial of Professional with no credit card. Team is $15 per seat a month billed annually, or $20 billed monthly, with a minimum of 3 billable users, 5,000 records per solution and 50 GB of storage. Professional is $32 per seat annually, or $36 monthly, with a minimum of 5 billable users, 100,000 records and 100 GB. Enterprise is custom-priced. The minimums matter more than the rate: a three-person team on Team pays for three seats whether or not all three log in, and Professional cannot be bought for fewer than five. Always verify the live price.

From the SmartSuite review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with SmartSuite?

It's a broad, do-everything work-management platform, so the power comes with a learning curve and a per-seat cost that adds up for bigger teams — a single source of truth if you commit, overkill if you just need a task list.

Smarty Discounts

Is Smarty Discounts worth it?

Smarty Discounts is genuinely best for Shopify merchants whose promotions have outgrown the native discount engine — capped amounts, a fixed amount that behaves correctly in several currencies, tiers by quantity, subtotal or weight, BXGY, gifts, mix-and-match — and who want to build them with rules rather than with a developer, targeting by product, customer, cart, market, country or company. Skip it if your promotions are ordinary percentage or fixed-amount codes, which Shopify's built-in discounts already do for free; or you want a long support and reliability record before a young app gets write access to the discounts in your checkout.

From the Smarty Discounts review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Smarty Discounts cost?

(read 2026-09-04 on apps.shopify.com/smarty-discount) Three tiers, all billed in USD and recurring every 30 days. Forever Free costs nothing, Lite is $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year, and Pro is $25.99 a month or $259.99 a year; the annual price on both paid tiers saves 17%, and both carry a 7-day free trial. What you are buying is capability, not volume: there is no order cap, no revenue meter and no surcharge tied to your Shopify plan anywhere in the block. Free covers product and order discounts with basic targeting and what the listing itself calls low support. Lite adds shipping and mix-and-match discounts, enhanced targeting and priority support. Pro unlocks every discount type, every targeting rule, active time periods and free shipping on a single rule. One detail in the plan table is worth reading twice, because it is unusual and it is in your favour: each tier gives unlimited discounts at its own level plus up to two at the level above. On Free you can build two Lite-grade discounts, on Lite two Pro-grade ones. That is a working trial of the next tier rather than a locked door, and it means you can prove the rule you actually need before you pay for it. Always verify the live price.

From the Smarty Discounts review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Smarty Discounts?

The evidence base is thin. The app launched on 14 January 2025 and carries six reviews as of 4 September 2026 — all five stars, but six is not a track record, and the vendor, Neezon, is a small developer in Ho Chi Minh City rather than a company with a support contract behind it. The listing is unusually candid about what that means at the bottom of the ladder: the free plan's own feature list says low support. Add to that what the app needs to do its job. The data-access panel says it reads customer data flagged as sensitive and can view and edit customers, products, discounts and the Online Store, which is the access any discount engine needs but is still broad. And because the ladder gates discount types rather than volume, the plan you land on is decided by the one rule you cannot live without: if the campaign you have in mind needs time-period scheduling or free shipping on a single rule, you are on Pro at $25.99 regardless of how few discounts you run.

SMTP.com

Is SMTP.com worth it?

SMTP.com is genuinely best for businesses and developers needing dependable high-deliverability transactional or bulk email via SMTP relay and API, with dedicated IPs at scale. Skip it if you send low volume and a free/cheap SMTP tier covers you, or you want a full marketing-email platform with templates and automation built in.

From the SMTP.com review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does SMTP.com cost?

(price re-verified 2026-09-05) Fixed-volume plans, all billed monthly: Essential $25 (50,000 emails, shared IP), Starter $80 (100,000, dedicated IP begins here), Growth $300 (500,000), Business $500 (1,000,000). Above that, High Volume Senders is quote-only and starts at a minimum of 250 million emails a month, with a dedicated platform instance, dedicated IP and MTA and no shared mail queue. Reputation Defender and Insight Engine are optional add-ons at 20% of plan cost each, available on all plans. No free tier or published trial. Payment by card or PayPal. The site is operated by J2 Global Canada, a Ziff Davis company. Always verify the live price.

From the SMTP.com review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with SMTP.com?

It's a veteran, reliable relay, but two honest notes. Pricing is volume-tiered, so a shared IP on the cheapest plan is fine for low volume while serious senders need the dedicated-IP tiers (and the IP warm-up discipline that comes with them). And the value-add features — reputation and verification — are metered on top at ~20% of plan cost, so the real bill is higher than the base tier. It's infrastructure, not a marketing suite; you bring the campaigns.

SMTP2GO

Is SMTP2GO worth it?

SMTP2GO is genuinely best for businesses that want dependable transactional/bulk sending via SMTP or API with human support and clear per-volume pricing. Skip it if you're inside a marketing platform that already sends for you, or you need advanced template/campaign tooling bundled in.

How much does SMTP2GO cost?

(read 2026-09-07 on smtp2go.com/pricing with the volume slider walked through all nine stops; the plan cards carry the amounts in their data-rate-monthly and data-rate-annual attributes) Free: 1,000 emails a month, 200 a day, 5 days of reporting, ticket support only (toll-free phone and live chat limited to 14 days), extra emails not permitted. Starter: $15/mo or $150/year for 10,000 (overage $1.20 per thousand); $30/mo or $300/year for 50,000 ($1 per thousand). Professional: $75/$750 for 100,000 ($0.85), $170/$1,700 for 250,000 ($0.70), $280/$2,800 for 500,000 ($0.60), $520/$5,200 for 1,000,000 ($0.50), and it adds a dedicated IP address and email-testing tools. Premier: custom, over 3,000,000 a month. Annual is exactly ten months' money at every step (their 'two months free'). All invoices are billed in US dollars; EUR, GBP, AUD and NZD are shown as approximations. 30-day money-back promise. Always verify the live price.

From the SMTP2GO review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with SMTP2GO?

It's the pragmatic middle of email infrastructure: simpler and better-supported than the hyperscale APIs, cheaper than most, with genuinely useful reporting — but sending reputation is still yours to earn. A relay delivers what your domain deserves: without proper SPF/DKIM/DMARC and list hygiene, no provider saves you. Check the overage rate for your tier before you size up: on the 10,000 plan an extra thousand emails costs $1.20 against the $1.50 a thousand you already pay, and the 50,000 plan at $30 works out cheaper per email than Professional at $75.

SocialBee

Is SocialBee worth it?

SocialBee is genuinely best for solo marketers and small agencies who post to several networks on a schedule and want evergreen recycling rather than a queue that empties. Skip it if you post to one or two networks by hand and are happy doing it, because the value here is category-based recycling across many profiles and that only pays back at volume.

Agency tiers billed monthly: Pro50 $179, Pro100 $329, Pro150 $449 for 50, 100 and 150 profiles, with 10, 20 and 30 workspaces and 5 users per workspace; billed yearly they are $149.20, $274.20 and $374.20 a month. Add-ons: 5 extra profiles $15/month or $150/year, an extra user $10/month or $100/year, an extra workspace $10/month or $100/year. AI generation is unlimited on every tier. Always verify the live price.

From the SocialBee review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with SocialBee?

You are billed per social profile, not per person, and a profile is one brand account on one network. A single business posting to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and TikTok has used the whole Bootstrap allowance before a second brand or a client exists. The second thing is that people cost extra on top: Bootstrap and Accelerate are single-user plans, so a two-person team on eight profiles is $49 plus $10, not $29. Count your profiles across every network first — that number, not your team size, decides the tier.

Softr

Is Softr worth it?

Softr is genuinely best for teams building internal tools, client portals or member apps on top of Airtable or Google Sheets without code. Skip it if you're building a public consumer app with unpredictable, high user counts — the per-user model works against you there.

From the Softr review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Softr cost?

(re-verified 2026-09-07) A free plan with unlimited apps, up to 3 builders, 5 app users, 5,000 database records, 500 workflow actions and 5 AI credits a month. Paid on yearly billing: Basic $19/month, Pro $99/month and Business $329/month, with Enterprise on custom limits; the pricing page opens on the Yearly tab and advertises two months off, so month-to-month costs more. App-user allowances are published per tier: Team 5 + Client 5 on Basic, Team 10 + Client 50 on Pro, Team 30 + Client 100 on Business, where Team users share a business email domain with one of your builders and everyone else counts as a Client user. Extra app users beyond the allowance start at $1/month on Pro and $2/month on Business. Extra builder seats are $5/month on Basic, $10 on Pro and $20 on Business, and builders can be added as app users free. Records run 50K / 500K / 1M and workflow actions 2.5K / 10K / 25K a month. Non-profits and education get a stated 50% discount. Refunds: in full within 14 days of a first monthly payment, 30 days of a first yearly one. Always verify the live price.

From the Softr review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Softr?

Builder seats are billed on top of the plan, and pricing counts builders and app users separately, so a public-facing app with a lot of end users gets expensive fast. Watch the overage rate as well as the plan: extra app users are $1 a month on Pro but $2 on Business, so the dearer plan meters growth at double the rate. It fits internal tools and client portals with a known audience, not an open signup.

Spiky.ai

Is Spiky.ai worth it?

Spiky.ai is genuinely best for sales and customer-facing teams that already run most conversations on video and want the coaching layer — talk-time, keyword tracking and call review — without buying a full revenue-intelligence platform. Skip it if your team's calls are mostly ad hoc or on the phone rather than video, or the meeting volume per rep sits well above 30 a month, in which case only the top tier fits and the cheaper plans are a false economy.

How much does Spiky.ai cost?

(re-verified 28 Aug 2026 on their own pricing page; unchanged since 31 Jul 2026) Read across both billing toggles. There is a genuine free tier, capped at 3 meetings per user per month. On annual billing Plus is $15, Pro $24 and Premium $40 per user per month; switch to monthly and the same three read $18, $29 and $49. Annual saves up to 18%. Trials need no card. Meeting allowances: 3 on Free, 30 on both Plus and Pro, unlimited on Premium. Always verify the live price.

From the Spiky.ai review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Spiky.ai?

The number to check first is the meeting cap, not the price. Plus and Pro both stop at 30 meetings per user per month, so the step from $15 to $24 buys features, not capacity. A rep taking two calls a day passes 30 in three weeks, which pushes you to Premium at $40 — nearly triple the entry price — for volume rather than capability. Price this from your team's actual call count and you will land on the right tier; price it from the feature table and you will not.

Spocket

Is Spocket worth it?

Spocket is genuinely best for dropshippers who want vetted US and EU suppliers with faster shipping and one-click store integration, prioritizing delivery speed over raw catalog size. Skip it if you want the widest possible catalog at the lowest sourcing cost (AliExpress-based tools fit), or your margins can't absorb both subscription and wholesale cost.

From the Spocket review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Spocket cost?

(re-verified 2026-09-07) Four monthly plans, metered on unique products: Starter $39.99 (25 products), Pro $59.99 (250 products, 25 premium), Empire $99.99 (10,000 / 10,000) and Unicorn $299.99 (25,000 / 25,000). Annual billing is advertised as eight months free and the annual rates are printed on the cards: Pro $24 a month, Empire $57 and Unicorn $79, with stated savings of $432, $516 and $2,563. Unicorn's two figures do not reconcile - $299.99 a month for a year less $79 a month for a year is $2,651.88, not $2,563. There is a 7-day trial and 0% transaction fee on every tier. Multiple-store support is listed on all plans, but the page states a separate subscription is required for each store. Unicorn carries the MOST POPULAR badge. Always verify the live price.

From the Spocket review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Spocket?

Spocket's pitch is faster-shipping US and EU suppliers, and that's real — but you still pay twice: the monthly subscription and the wholesale product cost, so margins depend on picking items with room to mark up. Catalog breadth is narrower than giant AliExpress-based tools (that's the trade for vetting and shipping speed), and the low Starter product cap pushes serious stores up to Pro quickly. It reduces, not removes, the usual dropshipping risks.

Stackable

Is Stackable worth it?

Stackable is genuinely best for shopify stores running several promotions at once — an order discount, free shipping and a collection deal — that want shoppers to redeem them with one code instead of choosing, or that want the progress type which raises the discount as the cart fills. Skip it if you run one promotion at a time, because Shopify's own combined discounts already cover that at no cost — or the checkout upsells are the part you actually want, since those only exist in the $99.99 tier here.

From the Stackable review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Stackable cost?

(prices read 2026-09-06 on apps.shopify.com/stackable-discounts) Two paid tiers, billed in USD every 30 days, and no free plan. Growth is $19.99 a month, or $199.99 a year with the annual saving the listing puts at 17%, and covers unlimited combined discounts; that plan carries the label 'For Non-Plus'. Unlimited is $99.99 a month, or $999.99 a year on the same 17%, and adds unlimited checkout upsells and unlimited linked discounts on top of the same combined discounts. Both tiers come with a 7-day free trial. The plan table lists no order caps, credit allowances or per-use charges, so what the tier costs is what the app costs. Always verify the live price.

From the Stackable review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Stackable?

The two halves of the pitch are priced five times apart. Discount stacking — order, collection and shipping discounts redeemed with a single code — is the $19.99 Growth plan, the one the listing labels 'For Non-Plus'. The checkout upsells and linked discounts the app leads with sit in the $99.99 Unlimited tier only, so a merchant who came for the upsells is reading $1,199.88 a year rather than $239.88. There is no free plan to settle whether the stacking alone lifts an order, so the seven-day trial is the entire evaluation. One more thing to check before you commit: the Website link on the listing, www.stkbl.app, now redirects to the documentation for Discount Kit — a different, pricier Optizio app — and that documentation does not mention Stackable anywhere (checked 6 September 2026). For an app that launched on 13 October 2020 and has collected 54 App Store reviews since, ask support where the current documentation lives before the trial clock starts.

Stamped

Is Stamped worth it?

Stamped is genuinely best for mid-market Shopify brands that want reviews and loyalty in one platform instead of juggling separate apps. Skip it if you're an early-stage store — the removed free plan and $199+/product pricing are steep before you have the volume to justify them.

From the Stamped review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Stamped cost?

(re-verified 2026-08-11, read on their own pricing page with the bundle toggle on and all three products ticked) There is no free plan, and the bill is driven by your monthly order volume rather than by a flat plan fee. Bundled, all three products came to about $18/month at the 200-order step and $79/month at 1,000 orders; $798/month is the figure at the 5,000-order step, not the price of the suite. Standalone, Reviews is around $23/month at 200 orders and $99 at 1,000. Plans include up to two domains and each additional store is $100/month after a first free month. Overage charges were dropped. A re-read on 12 August 2026 was not possible: the pricing page returns 403 to non-browser clients from both of our networks. Always verify the live price.

From the Stamped review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Stamped?

The $798/month figure that circulates for the full suite is the 5,000-order step, not an entry price — at 200 orders the same three-product bundle came to about $18/month when we read it. Read the order band, not the headline. What does bite is the shape: each product is its own subscription and the price steps hard with volume, so a good month raises the bill in several places at once, and a second storefront is another $100/month. Start with one product and price the step above the volume you actually expect.

Stampezee

Is Stampezee worth it?

Stampezee is genuinely best for local businesses (cafés, salons, retail) that want a simple digital stamp-card loyalty program starting free. Skip it if you need POS-integrated loyalty with CRM depth (bigger platforms exist), or your offer isn't repeat-visit shaped.

From the Stampezee review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Stampezee cost?

(read 2026-08-30 on stampezee.com/en/pricing from a US exit) Four tiers, all now named and priced on the public page. Stamp Start free: 1 branch, 1 stamp card, up to 100 customers or 100 stamps, whichever comes first. Stamp Lite $29.99/month: 2 branches, 3 stamp cards, unlimited customers and stamps, signup rewards, EzeeCodes, birthday/anniversary/referral automations. Stamp Pro $49.99: 3 branches, 6 cards, spend-based stamping, tiered and exclusive rewards, 4 push notifications. Stamp Elite $99.99: 10 branches, 12 cards, scratch-card campaigns, email marketing, 1 custom stamp card design, dedicated account manager. The page advertises 17% off on the annual term but does not print the annual amounts. StampEzee prices by region and the European rates are materially lower, not just relabelled: the same page read from the Netherlands gives EUR 19.99, 39.99 and 69.99. Note the entry tier's own contradiction: the plan card frames Stamp Start as a 14-day free trial, the comparison table on the same page lists it as Free with no time limit. Always verify the live price.

From the Stampezee review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Stampezee?

The category is honest and proven (digital stamp cards beat lost paper cards), and the platform is young with limited public pricing and review coverage — so start on the free plan, run one real campaign, and measure repeat-visit lift before paying. The deeper truth of loyalty programs: the mechanics are 10% of the outcome; a reward worth returning for is the other 90%.

StoreFAQ

Is StoreFAQ worth it?

StoreFAQ is genuinely best for small Shopify stores that want SEO-tagged FAQ pages with JSON-LD schema and a light AI chatbot for deflection, without standing up a full support stack. Skip it if you have real traffic, because the page-view meter charges you for the FAQ pages doing their job, or you need ticketing, agent workflows and multichannel support reporting.

From the StoreFAQ review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does StoreFAQ cost?

(read 2026-08-21 on apps.shopify.com/storefaq) Four tiers, metered on FAQ page views and AI chatbot conversations rather than on the number of FAQs. Free: 100 FAQ page views, unlimited FAQs and FAQ groups, the AI chatbot and AI-written FAQs, 25 AI conversations for the lifetime of the account, AI training on up to 50 products, export and import, instant answer with live chat and standard support. Professional $7.99 a month: 500 FAQ page views, 50 AI conversations a month, training on 150 products, multilingual FAQs and dedicated support, with overage at $0.0159 per extra page view and $0.30 per extra AI conversation. Growth $14.99 a month: 2,000 FAQ page views, 100 AI conversations a month, 300 products, with overage at $0.0075 a view and $0.30 a conversation. Enterprise $49.99 a month or $479.90 a year, a 20% saving: unlimited FAQ page views, 500 AI conversations a month, 2,000 products, priority support and $0.30 per extra conversation. All charges are billed in USD and recur every 30 days. Developer Storeware, 124 Broadkill Rd #599, Milton, Delaware; the app launched 3 January 2024 and carries Shopify's “Built for Shopify” badge. Always verify the live price.

From the StoreFAQ review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with StoreFAQ?

The meter is FAQ page views, and that is the thing this app exists to increase. You install it to get SEO-friendly FAQ pages that rank and get read; every read is a billable unit. The free plan stops at 100 views and Professional at 500, which a product-page FAQ on a store with any traffic burns through in days, and then it is $0.0159 a view. Unlimited views arrive only on the $49.99 tier. Success on the cheap plans costs you money, which is an odd shape for a pricing page and the first thing to model before you install. The AI allowance is the second meter and it is tight. Twenty-five conversations for the entire life of a free account, fifty a month at $7.99, a hundred at $14.99, and $0.30 each after that. Two hundred extra conversations in a month is $60, more than the top tier costs outright, so if the chatbot is the reason you are here, price the conversations rather than the subscription and jump straight to the tier that fits. And know the boundary of the tool. This builds FAQ content, schema and a light chat layer. It is not a helpdesk: no ticketing, no agent queues, no multichannel reporting. Anything a shopper asks that an FAQ cannot answer still lands in whatever inbox you had before.

StoreSEO

Is StoreSEO worth it?

StoreSEO is genuinely best for Shopify stores with a few hundred products and no in-house SEO help, who want metadata, schema, alt text and indexing handled in bulk and reported against Search Console. Skip it if you have fewer than 25 products, in which case the free tier is the whole product, or you expect an app to fix a demand problem rather than a metadata one.

Paid tiers are Lite $14.99, Essential $39.99 and Advanced $249.99 a month, each with a 7-day free trial. Lite covers 100 products, 500 image optimisations and 1,000 AI credits and adds one-click schema markup, instant indexing requests, Google Analytics and Search Console and automatic sitemap submission. Essential covers 250 products, 2,000 images and 5,000 credits. Advanced covers 10,000 products, 50,000 images, 50,000 credits and adds multilingual SEO. All charges are billed in USD and recur every 30 days. Worth knowing: storeseo.com sells a Growth plan at $99.99 a month (1,000 products, 5,000 images, 12,500 AI credits, 200 keywords) that does not appear on the App Store listing at all, and also sells credit top-ups from $10 for 5,000 credits and $50 for 25,000. What is the catch with StoreSEO?

Know what an SEO app can and cannot do before you buy any tier. This one fixes the mechanical layer well — meta titles and descriptions in bulk, alt text, compressed images, JSON-LD, sitemaps, indexing requests — and none of that creates demand for products nobody is searching for. It is maintenance, not marketing, and on a catalogue of 25 products the free tier already does most of it. Two specifics worth a raised eyebrow. The pricing gap between Essential at $39.99 for 250 products and Advanced at $249.99 for 10,000 is filled by a $99.99 Growth plan. That plan lives on the vendor's own site but not on the App Store listing our link points to, which is a strange place to hide a tier. And the AEO/GEO features — the LLMs.txt generator, the Agents.md editor, the separate “agentic” ranking — are a bet, not a channel. No major search or AI vendor has committed to reading llms.txt, so treat those numbers as a hypothesis you are testing rather than traffic you are buying.

Storista

Is Storista worth it?

Storista is genuinely best for Shopify stores that already produce TikTok or Reels content and want it on the storefront as shoppable video, with the free tier's unlimited views making it cheap to test whether social video converts on your product pages at all. Skip it if you have no UGC or short-form pipeline to feed it — the widget displays content, it does not create any — or you want automatic product-to-video tagging without paying $49 a month for it.

(read 2026-08-23 on apps.shopify.com/storista-stories, listed as “Storista Shoppable Video UGC”) Four tiers. Free covers 10 videos with unlimited views, TikTok Shop and Shop app integration, GEO/SEO optimisation and the Carousel and Spotlight widgets, and it keeps Storista branding on the widget. Basic is $15 a month for 50 videos, unlimited views, basic analytics and videos on any page. Business is $49 a month for unlimited videos, AI Smart Tagging, advanced analytics and all widget types. Scale is $199 a month for Shopify Plus stores and adds VIP support and multiple stores. Every paid tier carries a 14-day free trial, all charges are billed in USD, and recurring and usage-based charges are billed every 30 days. The app is English-only, carries Shopify's “Built for Shopify” badge and works with Checkout, Shopify Admin, TikTok Shop, the Shop app, Instagram Reels, TikTok Videos, GemPages, Rebuy, Skio, Shogun and Subscriptions. Developer Storista LLC, Sheridan, Wyoming; the app launched on 19 February 2021 and had 49 reviews at a 5.0 average at the time of writing. Note that storista.io, the vendor's own domain, sells a different product on a different meter — AI-generated UGC video at roughly $1 to $4 a render, free to start with a $19 a month Pro plan — and not the widget ladder above. Always verify the live price.

From the Storista review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Storista?

The first thing to know is that the brand sells two different products, and the one you find by searching the name is not the one this link installs. storista.io is an AI UGC video generator priced per render, roughly $1 to $4 a video, free to start with a $19 a month Pro plan. The Shopify app is a shoppable-video widget priced at $0, $15, $49 and $199 a month. Same company, same name, unrelated ladders, and nothing on either page maps one to the other. If you arrive at a price expecting the other product, you will be wrong by a factor of ten in either direction. Second, read the headline against the pricing table. AI Smart Tagging is one of four bullets in the app's own pitch and one of the four features named in the listing summary. It appears on Business at $49 and above. On Free and Basic you tag products to videos yourself. Third, the rating deserves its detail. 5.0 from 49 reviews is excellent, and the breakdown is 47 five-star, one four-star and one one-star — so the round number is a rounding, not a perfect record. That is a small point, but it is the kind of thing worth checking on any app whose average sits exactly on the ceiling. Finally, the data access. The listing states the app views customer device and activity data and can view and edit customers, products, store analytics, custom data and Shopify admin. That is a wide grant for a widget that displays video, and it belongs in your processing register whatever you decide about the product.

Storylane

Is Storylane worth it?

Storylane is genuinely best for sales and marketing teams who show a product before a call and want to know which prospects clicked what — the free tier is genuinely usable for one demo. Skip it if you need more than one live demo but nowhere near 2,500 identified visitors a month, because that is exactly the gap the price ladder does not serve; a screen recording and a calendar link may do the job for less.

(2026-08-01, read on their own pricing page) Free $0: 1 seat, 1 published demo live at a time, unlimited views. Starter $50/month ($40 annual), 1 seat, extra seats $40 each, unlimited demos, de-anonymises 250 visitors/month. Growth $625/month ($500 annual), 5 seats, extra seats $100 each, 2,500 visitors/month. Premium $1,500/month ($1,200 annual), 10 seats, 10,000 visitors/month. Enterprise quote-only. Their RepX chat product is separate again, starting at $2,000/month for up to 10,000 monthly visitors. Always verify the live price.

From the Storylane review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Storylane?

The jump from Starter to Growth is $50 to $625 a month — twelve and a half times — and the free tier is capped at one live demo, so the moment you want a second demo published you are on the ladder. What is actually being sold at each step is visitor de-anonymisation: 250 a month on Starter, 2,500 on Growth, 10,000 on Premium. Price that against what you already pay a separate tool to do, because it is the meter that decides your tier, not the number of demos. Extra seats are charged on top at $40 to $100 each, which means a five-person sales team on Starter is not $50 a month, it is $210.

Streak

Is Streak worth it?

Streak is genuinely best for solo founders and small Gmail-native teams whose pipeline genuinely lives in email threads and who want zero context-switching. Skip it if your team needs shared process outside the inbox (a standalone CRM scales better), or you're price-sensitive — the Gmail convenience now costs full CRM money.

From the Streak review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Streak cost?

(price re-verified 2026-08-31 against the vendor's own pricing page) (2026) Pro $49/user/mo annual or $59 monthly; Pro+ $69 annual or $89 monthly; Enterprise $129 annual or $159 monthly — a flat 20% annual discount, with Enterprise available on annual billing only and only to teams of 10 or more. Everyone on a team must be on the same plan. AI credits are a second meter: 20 per user per month on Pro, 150 on Pro+, 500 on Enterprise, pooled across the team and expiring each period; top-ups run $100/mo for 1,000 credits up to $1,000/mo for 25,000. The free CRM tier was eliminated in 2024-25, but the free email tools remain — email and link tracking, snippets, Streak Share, a thread splitter, and mail merge at 50/day against 1,500/day on the paid plans. Pro+ has a 14-day free trial. Always verify the live price.

From the Streak review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Streak?

The pitch — CRM living inside Gmail — is also the ceiling: everything happens in the inbox, which power users love and growing teams outgrow (reporting, permissions, cross-team process). And note the trajectory: the free tier is gone and per-seat prices sit at real-CRM levels now, so the 'lightweight Gmail add-on' framing no longer matches the invoice. If the inbox is truly where your deals live, few tools feel this natural.

Success.co

Is Success.co worth it?

Success.co is genuinely best for leadership teams that already run on goals and want one place to set objectives, track KPIs and scorecards, and keep strategy execution on cadence. Skip it if your team won't commit to a regular goal-review rhythm (the software alone won't create it), or a simple shared doc already keeps you aligned.

From the Success.co review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Success.co cost?

(read 2026-08-21 in Success.co's own structured data on success.co/pricing and re-read there unchanged on 2026-09-08) There is a Free Forever plan at $0, and the paid product is tiered per user with the rate falling as the team grows. Monthly billing: $12 per user a month for 1-25 users, $11 for 26-75, $9 for 76-125, $7 for 126-250 and $6 for 251-1,000. Annual billing takes roughly a dollar to two off each step: $11, $10, $8, $6 and $5 per user a month paid annually. Two enterprise add-ons sit outside that ladder and are quoted on the page itself at $250 a month each: Single Sign-On (Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace or any SAML/OIDC provider) and Directory Sync via SCIM for automatic provisioning and de-provisioning. A 30-day free trial needs no credit card, and 501(c)(3) nonprofits get 50% off. Always verify the live price.

From the Success.co review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Success.co?

The ladder rewards size rather than commitment: moving from 25 to 26 users drops the rate a dollar, and the annual discount is worth about the same single dollar per user. So the number that decides your bill is headcount, not billing term — and at the small end, where most teams start, $12 a user is the least favourable rate on the whole page. The two capabilities a security team will ask for first, SSO and SCIM, are not in any plan: they are $250 a month each, which on a 20-person account doubles the bill.

From the Success.co review — hand-researched, sources on the page.

Sunsama

Is Sunsama worth it?

Sunsama is genuinely best for people whose problem is deciding what to do today rather than tracking what exists — it pulls from your existing tools and forces a daily plan, which is the whole product. Skip it if you already plan your day and just want a task list, because that is free everywhere; also skip it for a team, since there is no team pricing and the per-person cost multiplies straight through.

From the Sunsama review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Sunsama cost?

(2026-08-30, re-read on their own pricing page from a US exit) The page gives two different numbers and it is worth knowing both. The plan card says $17 a month billed yearly, or $22 billed monthly, for the Pro plan, with unlimited usage and integrations; Enterprise is quote-only. The FAQ on the same page says Sunsama costs $25 a month per person, or $20 a month on yearly plans, and gives a worked example of $50 a month for two people. There is a free trial with no card required. The page also explains, unprompted, that they price at $25.00 rather than $24.99 because they consider the latter 'deceitful psychological trickery'. Their own llms.txt, read the same day, lists Pro at $17 per person a month billed yearly and $22 billed monthly, plus a 14-day trial at $0 with no card required — so the machine-readable file agrees with the plan card and not with the FAQ. Always verify the live price.

From the Sunsama review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Sunsama?

The pricing page contradicts itself: the plan card says $17 yearly and $22 monthly, the FAQ on the same page says $20 yearly and $25 monthly. One of those is stale, and until you know which, treat $25 as the number you might actually be charged. That is an odd thing to have to say about a company that goes out of its way on that same page to explain why it refuses to use $24.99 pricing — the transparency is real and so is the inconsistency. The other thing to be clear about is that this is per person with no team discount mentioned: two people is two subscriptions, and their own example says $50.

SupaEasy

Is SupaEasy worth it?

SupaEasy is genuinely best for Shopify merchants — especially non-Plus stores — who want custom discount, checkout, payment and shipping logic without hiring a developer, and above all those forced to migrate deprecated Shopify Scripts to Functions before the cutoff. Skip it if you only need a simple volume discount (a dedicated discount app is cheaper), you are comfortable writing Shopify Functions in code yourself, or you will not pay $99 a month to use the AI generator on a live store — the free plan runs on a dev store only.

From the SupaEasy review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does SupaEasy cost?

(verified 2026-08-28 on apps.shopify.com/supaeasy and supaeasy.com/pricing) A free plan plus three paid monthly tiers, each with a 7-day trial. The catch is in the free plan: it works only on a development store, not a live one. Premium is $49 a month ($470 a year), Advanced is $99 a month ($950 a year) and Ultimate is $399 a month ($3,830 a year). The headline feature — the AI Functions Generator, which writes a function from a plain-language description — does not appear until Advanced at $99, alongside the Scripts Editor and Functions Wizard. So using SupaEasy the way it markets itself, on a live store, realistically starts at $99 a month. Always verify the live price.

From the SupaEasy review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with SupaEasy?

Two things the marketing glosses over. First, the 'free' plan is development-stores only, so any live use is paid, and the AI generator that headlines the app is not in Premium ($49) but in Advanced ($99), possibly plus metered AI credits as an add-on — so the AI promise realistically costs $99+ a month. Second, the rating is suspiciously spotless — 5.0 across 205 reviews, all five-star — and the praise dwells on fast human support (Andrea, Fabio) more than on the no-code AI running unattended, which hints the tool can need hand-holding.

Superfiliate is genuinely best for e-commerce brands turning customers and creators into affiliates with branded co-branded storefronts — if the volume justifies a demo-quoted platform fee. Skip it if you're testing affiliate marketing for the first time — there is no self-serve entry and no published price, so the first step is a sales call about a program that is not yet producing.

How much does Superfiliate cost?

(read 25 August 2026, re-checked 5 September 2026) Superfiliate publishes no price on its own site. superfiliate.com/pricing returns 404 with and without www, /llms.txt returns 404, there is no pricing item anywhere in the navigation, and the only commercial call to action is Book Demo. Their Shopify App Store listing (apps.shopify.com/superfiliate) publishes the shape rather than the amount: a single plan named Custom, 'Free to install. Additional charges may apply', the note that the app 'Requires an active Superfiliate subscription for app activation and use. Contact Superfiliate for plan details', and one hard fact — 'All charges are billed in USD.' So the free-to-install label covers the app, not the platform. Our dossier has carried a range of roughly $299 to $999 a month which we cannot trace to their site or to any dated reading; treat it as an unverified order of magnitude rather than a price, and ask for the number in writing on the demo call. Always verify the live price.

What is the catch with Superfiliate?

The price is the part you cannot check. Their pricing page returns 404 with and without www, the homepage carries no figure at all, and the only route to a number is a sales call — so the honest warning is not that it is expensive, but that you cannot compare it against anything until you have spoken to them. Ask for the figure in writing on that call, and ask what separates the ends of whatever range they quote. On fit rather than price: this is built for brands already running creator and affiliate programs, and it is overkill if you are testing your first affiliate offer.

SupportBee

Is SupportBee worth it?

SupportBee is genuinely best for small support teams working out of a shared email inbox who want assignment, internal comments and a knowledge base without dragging customers into a portal or learning a helpdesk suite. Skip it if your customers reach you on chat, phone or WhatsApp, or support and billing need separate queues with their own rules; this is one channel, one team and one knowledge base on both published plans.

How much does SupportBee cost?

(read 2026-08-27 on supportbee.com/pricing) Two plans, both priced per seat, and no free tier. Month to month, Startup is $20/seat/month and Enterprise is $25/seat/month. Switch the toggle to annual and the page shows a total of $204 per seat billed annually on Startup and $252 on Enterprise, a saving it advertises as 20 per cent, which works out at effective rates of 17 and 21 dollars a seat a month. Startup covers the shared inbox, snippets, filters, basic integrations, API access, unlimited email inboxes and tickets, customer satisfaction ratings, customer management, audit trails and one knowledge base with one team. Enterprise is described as everything in Startup plus five things: enterprise integrations, business hours, the customer portal, an audit log with data history, and portal access for customer groups. The trial is 14 days and the home page says no credit card is required. Billing runs through Stripe, you can switch between monthly and annual at any time with a prorated credit, and plan changes take effect immediately. Always verify the live price.

What is the catch with SupportBee?

It is an email helpdesk and only an email helpdesk. There is no live chat, no phone, no WhatsApp and no social inbox, and the integration list confirms it: Asana, Trello, ClickUp, Linear, Notion, GitHub Issues, Pipedrive, Insightly, Capsule, Customer.io, QuickBooks, PostHog, Slack and webhooks are all places to push a ticket outward, not channels a customer can arrive on. Read the two published plans as printed and neither lifts the cap of one knowledge base and one team, even though the vendor's own FAQ describes teams as the way you mirror departments. Enterprise is listed as everything in Startup plus five named items, and more teams is not one of them. Watch the seat count too. The pricing FAQ defines users as everyone with access across all three permission levels, collaborators included, and the docs add a collaborator through the same add-a-user flow. So the invite-the-whole-company pitch runs through the same per-seat meter, and collaborator activity does not even show up in reports. And the two pages disagree about leaving: the pricing FAQ says you can cancel your subscription anytime, while the billing doc routes cancellation through contact us, which is the one billing action on that page that is not self service.

Surfer (SurferSEO)

Is Surfer (SurferSEO) worth it?

Surfer (SurferSEO) is genuinely best for content marketers, SEO specialists and agencies that need on-page optimization against live SERP data and want to start tracking how often they are cited in AI answers. Skip it if you are a solo blogger who needs keyword research rather than document-level optimization, or you cannot commit to a year — every listed rate assumes annual billing.

How much does Surfer (SurferSEO) cost?

(read 2026-08-26 on surferseo.com/pricing over a US connection; first read 2026-08-25 from the Netherlands) Billed yearly: Discovery $49/mo, Standard $99/mo, Pro $182/mo and Peace of Mind $299/mo, with Enterprise at $999/mo and AI Search Analytics sold on its own at $158/mo. Every listed rate assumes the annual commitment. The page publishes what that commitment saves you — $120, $240, $444, $720 and $324 a year — and working those back gives monthly-billing rates of about $59, $119, $219, $359 and $185; Surfer does not print those figures itself, so treat them as arithmetic on theirs rather than a reading. Worth knowing if you are outside the US: we read this page from both sides and the numbers do not convert. A European is quoted €49 to €299 where an American is quoted $49 to $299, which at today's rate makes the same subscription materially more expensive in Europe. Always verify the live price.

From the Surfer (SurferSEO) review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Surfer (SurferSEO)?

Every tier quotes its monthly rate on annual billing, so the number you see is a year's commitment rather than a monthly one. The meter that actually forces an upgrade is documents: 120 to 360 optimizations depending on tier, which a working content team passes faster than it expects. And the AI-visibility tracking that the product now leads with is capped by prompt count per tier, so watching more of your market costs a step up rather than an add-on.

SurveyMonkey

Is SurveyMonkey worth it?

SurveyMonkey is genuinely best for teams that need research-grade survey logic (skip logic, randomisation, quotas) with compliance (HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2) and 200+ integrations. Skip it if you just need a simple form (Google Forms is free) or you're cost-sensitive with high response volumes — the overage fees add up.

From the SurveyMonkey review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does SurveyMonkey cost?

(read 2026-09-08 in surveymonkey.com/pricing.md, the vendor's own machine-readable pricing reference, whose header dates the content 2026-08-31) Team plans are annual-only in practice: pricing.md lists Team Advantage Monthly and Team Premier Monthly as Canada-only and "currently not available to any user". The geography tables separate a core seat from each additional seat, and the per-user figure the pricing page advertises is the additional one. United States: Team Advantage Annual is $468 a year for the core seat plus $360 for every seat after it; Team Premier Annual is $1,668 plus $1,104. Euro storefronts carry the same shape at €432 plus €360 and €1,188 plus €900. Team plans require three or more users, Enterprise five or more on a custom quote. Overage above the included response limit is priced per storefront: $0.15 a response in dollar countries, €0.10 in euro countries, £0.15 in sterling. That included limit is stated nowhere in pricing.md, whose feature matrix marks responses "Unlimited" on every paid plan. Always verify the live price.

From the SurveyMonkey review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with SurveyMonkey?

The free tier is a teaser. Response caps trigger $0.15-per-response overages that become a hidden cost on big studies. Branding and customisation are limited, and a lot of the good analytics and logic sit behind higher tiers.

SurveySparrow

Is SurveySparrow worth it?

SurveySparrow is genuinely best for teams that want engaging, conversational surveys and NPS with a polished respondent experience. Skip it if you just need a quick, occasional form — a free tool like Google Forms or Tally covers it without a subscription.

From the SurveySparrow review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does SurveySparrow cost?

(re-verified 2026-08-17) The plan prices are not in the page itself — they render only after the plan selector loads, and neither our July nor our August 2026 capture retrieved an amount. What the page does publish is the discount structure: yearly billing saves up to 40%, students and education get 50% off, nonprofits 15%, and a startup programme offers $2,000 of credit for $500. Our earlier reading put paid survey plans at roughly $19-39/mo (Basic), Starter around $59 and Business around $149, with the CX and reputation suites quoted, billed quarterly or annually rather than monthly — treat those as indicative and take your figure from the selector. Always verify the live price.

From the SurveySparrow review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with SurveySparrow?

The conversational-survey UX is the draw, but response limits on lower tiers and the 'contact sales' wall on advanced features (API, higher volume) make budgeting fiddly — and there's no true monthly billing.

Survicate

Is Survicate worth it?

Survicate is genuinely best for product and CX teams running always-on feedback — NPS, CSAT and in-app surveys — piped into the CRM and analytics stack they already use. Skip it if you just need an occasional one-off questionnaire (a simpler form tool covers that) or your response volume is huge — response-metered pricing punishes scale.

How much does Survicate cost?

(read 2026-09-08 in the plan data embedded in survicate.com/pricing) A 10-day trial of all features, no card. Growth is metered on feedback rather than seats and is a ladder, not a single price: $56 a month for 100 responses and 500 data points, $114 for 250 and 1,000, $169 for 500 and 1,500, $229 for 1,000 and 2,000, and $289 for 1,500 and 2,500 — billed annually, with 10 user seats across 2 teams and one dashboard at every rung. Pro is $349 with a custom yearly response pool, advanced survey logic and 10 dashboards; Enterprise is $569. Starter is monthly-only and has its own ladder with an explicit overage rate: $89 for 100 responses at $0.89 for each one beyond, $179 for 250 at $0.59, $279 for 500 at $0.39. A response is counted per respondent, partial or complete; data points are new external feedback from integrations (calls, tickets, reviews) and exclude survey responses. Always verify the live price.

From the Survicate review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Survicate?

The plan is metered by response volume, not by surveys — a viral NPS month can push you a tier up, and the free plan's 30-day retention quietly deletes your history. Mind the billing asymmetry too: Starter is monthly-only while Growth and up expect an annual commitment.

Switcher Studio

Is Switcher Studio worth it?

Switcher Studio is genuinely best for creators, churches, events and small businesses that want multi-camera live production and streaming using iPhones and iPads they already own — no broadcast hardware. Skip it if you're on Windows, you need rock-solid wired production for high-stakes broadcasts, or a single-camera stream is all you'll ever need.

From the Switcher Studio review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Switcher Studio cost?

(read 2026-09-08 on switcherstudio.com/pricing) Studio is $65 a month month-to-month and $45 on annual billing; Suite is $99 month-to-month and $79 annually, discounted to $71 a month for a first year that then renews at $948. A Studio Seasonal tier is $55 a month on a three-month commitment — $165 for the block, which the page presents as a limited offer that continues at the same rate afterwards. Fourteen-day trial, no free plan. Monetisation carries no revenue share but $0.99 per transaction. The app runs on Mac and iOS; Android phones can be used as cameras, and there is no Windows version. Always verify the live price.

From the Switcher Studio review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Switcher Studio?

The app runs on Mac and iOS only — Android phones can join as cameras, but there is no Windows version — so the machine doing the switching has to be an Apple one. And wireless multi-cam is only as reliable as your venue's Wi-Fi; a shaky connection is the failure mode nobody markets. The monetization features (pay-per-view, subscriptions) are genuinely strong, but only matter if you're actually selling access.

Synthesia

Is Synthesia worth it?

Synthesia is genuinely best for teams making talking-head training, explainer and onboarding videos without cameras, actors or editing. Skip it if you need lots of video or cinematic, human-shot production — the minute caps and avatar style won't fit.

From the Synthesia review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
How much does Synthesia cost?

(re-verified 2026-08-17) Basic is free. Starter $29/mo billed monthly or $18/mo billed yearly; Creator $89/mo monthly or $64/mo yearly; Enterprise is custom with unlimited minutes. The page currently carries a NEW LOWER PRICES banner claiming plans from $18 a month, a 38% saving. Priced by video-minute credits, so the minute allowance rather than the sticker is what decides which plan you need, and a Studio Express-1 avatar is a paid add-on at $1,000 a year available only on annual plans. One caution we can document. The FAQ block lower down that same page states Starter costs $29 a month or $264 a year, and Creator $89 a month or $804 a year. That works out at $22 and $67 a month — not the $18 and $64 shown on the plan cards above it. Both readings were present in our July and August 2026 captures too, so check the figure at checkout rather than trusting either block. Always verify the live price.

From the Synthesia review — hand-researched, sources on the page.
What is the catch with Synthesia?

The video-minute caps are tight — 10 min/mo on Starter goes fast when you iterate, and re-generating edits burns minutes. Fantastic for avatar-led training and explainers without a studio, but not for high-volume or cinematic production.
