SecurifySecurify Review (2026)

SecurityResearched assessment · by Daniel HaketUpdated 2026-08-18

The IT and productivity layer is where small, reliable tools quietly give you hours back — or, done wrong, add another login to babysit. So where does Securify actually fit?

The honest bottom line. Worth it for stores seeing real fraud or bot traffic that want country, IP, VPN and email-risk rules plus automatic holds on suspicious orders, and who will review the block log rather than set and forget. Skip it once you are blocking on a hunch rather than on measured fraud.

What Securify does

Pricing (2026)

(read 2026-08-18 on apps.shopify.com/easy-block-customer-ip-country) Free plan available with a free trial on the paid tiers. Paid runs Pro $5.99, Advanced $9.49 and Growth $49 a month. Rating 4.4 from 68 reviews, and it carries Shopify's “Built for Shopify” badge. The App Store lists it as “Country Blocker Fraud Securify” from siimple.ai. The honest knock

Blocking by country and IP is a blunt instrument and it cuts both ways: every rule that keeps out a fraudster also keeps out a customer travelling, using a corporate VPN, or living behind a carrier NAT. The app is honest enough to give you a live log of what it blocked, and that log is the part to actually read — a rule set nobody reviews quietly costs sales. Also worth separating in your head: blocking bots from your analytics is a reporting fix, while blocking fraud at checkout is a money fix, and the two need different rules.

How to actually use Securify

Run it in log-only mode first if the plan allows, or start with the narrowest rule you can defend, and watch the live log for a week before you widen anything. The order in which to add rules matters: bot and scraper blocking is low-risk and cleans up your analytics, IP and VPN blocking is medium-risk, and country blocking is the one most likely to cost you real orders. Check the block log against your actual fraud cases monthly — if the rules are not catching anything, they are only costing you. Best for: stores seeing real fraud or bot traffic that want country, IP, VPN and email-risk rules plus automatic holds on suspicious orders, and who will review the block log rather than set and forget.

Frequently asked questions

Is Securify secure and reliable enough to depend on?

Judge it on evidence rather than adjectives. Look for a published security page, single sign-on and role controls on the plan you would actually buy (they are often gated to higher tiers), a status page with real incident history, and a clear answer on where your data is stored. If the tool will hold anything sensitive, those four answers matter more than any feature comparison.

Who should not use Securify?

Skip it if you are blocking on a hunch rather than on measured fraud — start by reading your order data, because a blocked legitimate customer never tells you they were blocked. Buying a tool to fix a problem you don't have yet just adds cost and another login to manage.
