AIBuilder Marketplace ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal data.
1. Information we collect
Newsletter sign-ups. If you subscribe, we collect the email address you provide so we can send our newsletter.
Usage analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). This data is statistical and is not used to identify you personally.
Cookies. We and our analytics and partner providers may set cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
2. How we use it
To send the newsletter you signed up for.
To measure and improve the site's content and performance.
To understand which tools and reviews are useful, in aggregate.
3. Third-party services
We rely on trusted third parties, each with their own privacy policies:
Beehiiv — hosts our newsletter and stores subscriber email addresses.
Google Analytics — provides aggregate usage statistics.
Affiliate networks (e.g. PartnerStack, Awin) — when you click a partner link, the provider may set a cookie to attribute a referral. We receive aggregate commission data, not your personal details.
3a. YouTube API Services and embedded videos
Our review pages embed videos from our own YouTube channel, and we publish those videos to YouTube through YouTube API Services. By watching an embedded video you are also using YouTube, which is governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
What we access: only our own channel. Our upload tool publishes our videos, sets thumbnails and posts one comment per video on our channel. It does not read, store or process data about you or any other YouTube user.
What we store: the IDs of our own uploaded videos, so we can embed the right video on the right review and avoid duplicate uploads. Nothing about viewers is stored.
Embedded players: YouTube may set cookies and collect usage data when you play an embedded video. We use YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed mode where available. You can manage this in your Google account settings.
Revoking access: the only Google account that has authorised our tool is our own channel account. Anyone who has granted a Google application access to their data can revoke it at any time via the Google security settings page.
Deletion: stored video IDs are refreshed nightly and removed when a video is deleted from our channel. To ask us to delete any data, contact us via the About page.
4. Affiliate links
Many outbound links are affiliate links; we may earn a commission at no cost to you. Clicking one takes you to a third party governed by their own privacy policy.
5. Your choices & rights
Unsubscribe any time via the link in every newsletter email.
Access, correction or deletion. You may request that we access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you (essentially, your newsletter email).
Cookies. Manage or disable cookies in your browser.
6. Data retention
We keep subscriber email addresses until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Analytics data is retained in aggregate per our provider's defaults.
