E-commerce tooling is ROI-math on margin: every tool must pay for itself in conversion, basket size or saved hours. So where does Selixer actually fit?

(read 2026-08-21 on apps.shopify.com/selixer) Three tiers, no free plan, each with a 14-day free trial. Essance $149 a month: one user seat, one connected ad account, a 30-day data lookback window, basic high-level profit metrics, an inventory health score teaser and total dead stock value. Catalyst $299 a month: three seats, two ad accounts, unlimited historical data, the full profit waterfall and product P&L, campaign POAS and ROAS tracking, smart reorder alerts and stockout risk, AI anomaly detection and insights, and profit-leak and low-margin SKU detection. Aether $399 a month: five seats, three ad accounts, an AI co-pilot for simulations and what-ifs, advanced demand forecasting, RFM customer scoring and cohorts, multi-touch ad attribution models, discount and transaction-fee impact, and full benchmarks and analytics. The listing publishes no annual rate, so all three are monthly. All charges are billed in USD and recur every 30 days. Developer Akaame Export Private Limited; the app launched 19 May 2026 and carries a single App Store review. Plans change — always verify the live price on their site.
Read the feature lists rather than the prices and the entry tier stops looking like an entry tier. Essance at $149 a month gives you one ad account, a 30-day lookback and, in Shopify's own wording, an inventory health score teaser. The profit waterfall, the product P&L and campaign POAS and ROAS tracking, which is the reason anyone installs a profit dashboard, all start on Catalyst at $299. So the real price of what this app is sold on is double the headline. The ad-account caps decide the tier as much as the features do: one, two, then three. If you run Meta, Google and TikTok you are on the $399 plan for connectivity alone, whatever your revenue looks like. And this is a new app. It launched on 19 May 2026 and has one public review. There is nothing bad in the record, but there is barely any record, and this is a tool you hand your cost prices, your ad spend and your margins to. Use the 14-day trial to reconcile its numbers against a month you have already closed in your own books before you trust a dashboard you cannot yet audit.
Everything we publish about Selixer links back here — the review stays the honest hub:
The ex-banker filter — the same yardstick on every review (how we review): My ex-banker filter is simple: does Selixer remove a real cost — time, errors, missed revenue — bigger than what it charges? If the job above is genuinely yours, it's worth a look. We never publish fake or “exclusive” prices, so always confirm the current plan on their site.
Check your platform and version specifically. Shopify support is close to universal in this category, while WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento and headless setups vary a lot, and 'supported' sometimes means a generic API rather than a maintained app. A listing in your own platform's app store, with recent reviews there, is a better signal than the vendor's logo wall.
Skip it if your store is small enough that a spreadsheet still works, you need more than three connected ad accounts without paying $399, or you want a longer public track record than an app launched in May 2026 with one review. Buying a tool to fix a problem you don't have yet just adds cost and another login to manage.
