What Shore does
Booking and business software for local service businesses (salons, barbers, wellness, coaches): 24/7 online appointments via your website, Google and Instagram, calendar and staff scheduling, client profiles, automated reminders that cut no-shows, plus email marketing and POS. Fixed monthly price with unlimited bookings — no per-booking commission.
Pricing (2026)
(2026-08-15, read on their own pricing page, in euros) Three packages, each per month and each currently marked down from a struck-through list price: Starter €59.90 down to €49.90 with 2 employees included, Growth €89.90 down to €79.90 with 4 employees, and the top tier €129.90 down to €119.90 with unlimited employees. Card payments run at up to 1.35% on every tier. Starter holds the booking calendar, online booking via your own site plus Google and Instagram, email and SMS reminders, deposits and the iPad POS register; Growth adds the marketing layer — newsletters, WhatsApp reminders, Google review requests, vouchers, customer segments; the top tier adds shift planning, revenue reports per employee, register analytics and a direct DATEV connection. Shore reorganised this grid during August 2026: the same page carried five packages split by Booking, Marketing and POS when we captured it on 4 August. The page is region-specific — these are the euro tiers — so verify your own country's. POS hardware and card processing are billed separately. Plans change — always verify the live price on their site.
What the pricing page doesn’t say
It's built for local appointment businesses, and that's also the boundary: the integration list is short (calendar, Google, Instagram, Meta), and once you add POS and payments the monthly total climbs well past the entry price. If you only need a booking link, this is more machine than you need.
What buyers report about Shore
Recurring themes from Capterra, GetApp and Software Advice, read in August 2026. We have not run Shore ourselves, so this is other buyers' experience rather than ours. We summarise it here because the complaints are usually the part a vendor page leaves out.
- • Booking at a price point that small salons and studios can carry, and reviewers report clients using it without complaints about ease of use.
- • Representatives are described as accommodating when you can reach them.
- • Cancellation is the sore point — reviewers describe continuing to be billed for something they will never use, and messages going unanswered.
- • Bugs in the booking system: automatic sign-outs and incorrect time slots showing to customers.
- • No detailed reporting or analytics, and no review integrations.
- • Reviews split sharply — some call it a fantastic solution, others a waste of time and money. Trial it properly before committing.
The natural comparison is Fresha or Calendly — commission-based salon platforms or lighter pure-scheduling tools. Weigh it against Fresha on the job you actually need done.

Does Shore replace my current setup or sit on top of it?
Usually it sits on top rather than replacing everything. Tools in this class tend to become the layer where work is tracked and handed off, while your existing systems stay the source of truth for their own data. Before you buy, map which tools it would replace outright and which it would merely sync with. If the answer is that it syncs with all of them, you are adding a layer rather than removing one.
Who should not use Shore?
Skip it if you just need a simple scheduling link (a Calendly-class tool is lighter) or you run a business without appointments at all. Buying a tool to fix a problem you don't have yet just adds cost and another login to manage.
