SelleasySelleasy Review (2026)Priced by Store Orders, Not Upsells

Growth & RevenueResearched assessment · by Daniel HaketUpdated 2026-09-20

The meter is your whole store, not the app.

Best for: shopify stores that want bundles, add-ons, cart funnels and post-purchase offers out of one app and would rather be billed on order volume than hand over a share of the upsell revenue — and small stores in particular, since under 50 orders a month the full strategy set costs nothing.

Entry price per month, USD. Our own dated readings of 23 growth & revenue tools — not a market survey, and cheapest is not best.

Billed in USD. The App Store listing shows one ladder, Starter, and it is priced by your store's total monthly order count rather than by anything the app does: free up to 50 orders a month, $9 from 51 to 500, $19 from 501 to 1,000, and $29 above 1,000. All four steps carry the same 18 upsell and cross-sell strategies, 50 free AI recommendations, free setup on a call and chat, email and Zoom support, with a 30-day free trial on the paid steps.

Logbase's own pricing page adds two tiers the listing does not show. Pro is $49 a month or $499 a year — $42 a month, which the site says saves $89 — and lifts the order limit entirely while adding 1,000 AI recommendations a month, an AI campaign optimizer, checkout upsells for Shopify Plus, advanced campaign targeting and metafield bulk recommendations. Max is $99 a month or $1,009 a year — $84 a month, saving $179 — adding 2,500 AI recommendations a month, advanced customization, a rules engine, an AOV advisor and priority support. An Enterprise tier is quoted on request. Plans change — always verify the live price on their site.

The catch

Every Starter tier counts total store orders, so the free plan's 50-order ceiling is reached by any shop doing two orders a day whether or not a single upsell ever fired — and, read the other way, a 5,000-order store running one quiet bundle pays the top step of the ladder all the same. That cuts both ways and it is cheap in either direction, but it is not the meter most people assume they are signing up to.

Second, the App Store listing shows only the Starter ladder, so it reads as though $29 is the ceiling. It is not. Pro at $49 and Max at $99 exist only on logbase.io, and that is where AI recommendations at volume and checkout upsells for Shopify Plus sit — the two upgrades a growing store is most likely to want. Third, every Starter tier says '50 free AI recommendations' with no period attached, while Pro says '1,000 AI recommendations/month' and Max says '2,500 AI recommendations/month'.

The contrast in wording suggests the 50 is a one-off allowance rather than a monthly one, but neither page says so outright. Ask before you plan around it. And treat the vendor's headline claims as claims: the 20% AOV increase and the 40,000+ brands are Logbase's own figures on its own site, with no methodology attached to either.

What Selleasy does

Shopify upsell and cross-sell app (by Logbase): bundles and product add-ons on the product page, add-on pop-ups and response-based funnels on the cart, one-click post-purchase offers and thank-you page add-ons. Priced by your store's total order count rather than by upsell revenue, and free under 50 orders a month.

What buyers report about Selleasy

Recurring themes from the buyer-review sites listed at the foot of this page, read in September 2026. We have not run Selleasy ourselves, so this is other buyers' experience rather than ours. We summarise it here because the complaints are usually the part a vendor page leaves out.

What they praise
  • Support that gets on a call. Reviewers from Poland, Spain, India, Estonia and the UK name individual Logbase staff for Zoom sessions that either set the app up or fixed a broken widget in under fifteen minutes. It is by some distance the most repeated theme on the listing.
  • Setup speed. A US store reports a Frequently Bought Together offer live within an hour of installing; a Latvian store almost four years in reports cart value up significantly since.
  • It matches the theme. Styling the widget in the store's own colours comes up repeatedly as the reason it does not read as a bolt-on.
What they complain about
  • A $0.00 checkout. A US store almost two years in reports an order for a $1,199 product that checked out at zero, shipped and was delivered before they caught it, and says repeated support tickets were met with denial rather than investigation (July 2026, still unresolved when they wrote). This is one merchant's account and Logbase disputes involvement; it is also the most serious thing on the listing, and it concerns an app that sits in the checkout flow.
  • The meter, again. A US store that left after three days says the app charges on the number of sales your website does, not the number its upsells generate — the same objection our pricing section makes, from someone who paid it (November 2025).
  • Add-ons do not appear behind Shopify's accelerated checkout. Logbase's public reply confirms it: the 'Buy it now' button sends only the main product and third-party apps cannot change that, so add-ons work with the standard Add to Cart button and not with express checkout.
  • Pressure after a bad review. The same November 2025 reviewer describes being emailed repeatedly within 24 hours and contacted through their own storefront chat after posting one star; Logbase disputes the count and the route in its public reply. Both sides are on the page.

Where the ratings disagree. 4.9 across 2,705 reviews, with 97% at five stars against 26 one-star and 5 two-star. The average is close to meaningless at that skew and the 26 carry everything worth knowing, so filtering the listing to one and two stars is the ten seconds that pays: it surfaces what the app meters, what it cannot do behind accelerated checkout, and one unresolved checkout incident. One more thing about this listing specifically — Logbase replies in public to nearly every review, positive and negative, which makes the replies a second source. The grandfathered pricing in our Q&A came out of one of them.

What the money actually buys

On the Starter ladder the money buys headroom and nothing else. Tiers I, II, III and IV carry an identical feature list — 18 upsell and cross-sell strategies, 50 free AI recommendations, free setup on a call, and chat, email and Zoom support — and differ only in how many orders your store is allowed to process: 50, 500, 1,000, then no limit above $29. That is unusual in this category and it is the main reason to look at Selleasy at all.

A store doing 1,200 orders a month pays $29 for exactly the same product a store doing 40 orders gets for nothing. The real feature paywall sits above that ladder, and it is on Logbase's own site rather than on the App Store listing. Pro at $49 a month is where the AI layer opens: 1,000 recommendations a month instead of 50, an AI campaign optimizer, advanced campaign targeting and metafield bulk recommendations — and it is also where checkout upsells for Shopify Plus live.

Max at $99 raises recommendations to 2,500 and adds advanced customization, a rules engine, an AOV advisor and priority support. Annual billing brings both down: $499 a year for Pro, $1,009 for Max, which the site puts at $42 and $84 a month. Above that an Enterprise tier is quoted on request.

How to actually use Selleasy

The free tier is a genuine trial, but read what it counts. Tier I is free up to 50 orders a month and that is your store's total order count, not the orders the app creates — so if you are already shipping more than a couple of orders a day you are on a paid step from the first month. The step is $9, and it opens the same 18 strategies as every other Starter tier, so this is a cheap thing to be wrong about.

Before you install, decide which of the six offer types you actually want: bundles and product add-ons on the product page, add-on pop-ups and response-based funnels on the cart, one-click post-purchase offers on the same order, and thank-you page add-ons. Set up one of them rather than all six and let it run a fortnight — a frequently-bought-together bundle on your best seller is the usual first test, and Logbase will do the setup with you on a call at every tier including the free one.

Two things push you off the Starter ladder entirely: wanting AI recommendations at volume, and being on Shopify Plus and wanting checkout upsells. Both start at Pro, $49 a month, which the App Store listing never shows. Read on apps.shopify.com/upsell-cross-sell-kit-1 and logbase.io, 19 September 2026.

Distilled from Two pages, both read in a live browser on 19 September 2026. The Shopify App Store listing at apps.shopify.com/upsell-cross-sell-kit-1 gave the Built for Shopify badge, the rating of 4.9 from 2,704 reviews, the launch date of 15 July 2021, the developer record (Logbase Technologies LLP, PSG STEP E-Lab, PSG College of Technology, Peelamedu, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu 641004, India), the categories Upselling and cross-selling and Product bundles, the integration list (Checkout, customer accounts, Shopify Admin, AppHQ Slide Cart, Conversion Bear, Geolocation, LogBase Store Pickup, PageFly), the seven storefront languages, and the four Starter tiers with their order ceilings, prices, identical feature lists and 30-day trial. Logbase's own product page at logbase.io/products/shopify-upsell-app-selleasy gave the rest, and it is the only place the upper half of the ladder appears: the Pro tier at $49 a month or $499 a year and the Max tier at $99 a month or $1,009 a year, with their feature splits, the Enterprise tier quoted on request, the six offer types, and the vendor's own marketing claims of a 20% AOV increase and 40,000+ brands, which are the vendor's figures and are not independently verified.

Selleasy vs UpsellPlus, side by side

The catch
The plans are capped by the revenue they are allowed to earn you, and the first paid step does not raise that cap: Free and the $49 Launch plan both stop at $500 of upsell revenue a month.
Best for
shopify merchants who want one app covering product page, cart, checkout, post-purchase, customer accounts and POS offers rather than three, especially Shopify Plus stores, where the checkout half of the product actually unlocks

Both names above are affiliate links: we may earn a commission if you sign up, at no extra cost to you. Neither changes what this table says: both columns come straight from the vendors’ own pricing pages.

The natural comparison is UpsellPlus — Both cover the same surfaces — product page, cart, checkout, post-purchase — so the difference that matters is what you are billed for. UpsellPlus meters the upsell revenue the app is allowed to generate for you: $500 a month on free and on its $49 plan, $2,000 at $119, $5,000 at $199. Selleasy meters your store's total orders instead and never touches the revenue: nothing under 50 orders, $29 above 1,000, with the same features at every step. That makes Selleasy far cheaper for a busy store with modest upsell income, and UpsellPlus the safer read if your order count is high but you want the bill tied to what the app actually earns. Check the Plus question on both before you choose: checkout upsells are Shopify Plus-only on UpsellPlus, and on Selleasy they sit on the $49 Pro tier that the App Store listing does not show at all..

Frequently asked questions

What is Selleasy actually metering?

Your store's total monthly orders, not the orders its upsells influenced. Read on apps.shopify.com/upsell-cross-sell-kit-1 on 19 September 2026: Starter Tier I is free to install up to 50 orders a month, Tier II is $9 from 51 to 500, Tier III is $19 from 501 to 1,000 and Tier IV is $29 above that — all four carrying the same 18 upsell strategies and the same 50 free AI recommendations. That cuts both ways. Two orders a day exhausts the free tier whether or not a single upsell ever fired, and a 5,000-order store running one quiet bundle still pays the top step. It stays cheap in either direction, but it is not the meter most people assume they are signing up to, and a merchant review on the same listing names exactly this as the reason they left.

Is $29 the most I can pay?

No. The App Store listing shows only the Starter ladder, which stops at $29, but Logbase's own site carries two tiers above it. Pro is $49 a month or $499 a year and removes the order limit entirely, adding 1,000 AI recommendations a month, an AI campaign optimiser, checkout upsells for Shopify Plus and advanced targeting. Max is $99 a month or $1,009 a year, adding 2,500 recommendations, advanced customisation, a rules engine, an AOV advisor and priority support. Enterprise is quoted on request. The two upgrades a growing store is most likely to want — AI recommendations at volume, and checkout upsells on Plus — both sit above the ceiling the listing shows you.

If the price goes up, am I moved onto the new one?

On the evidence of Logbase's own public answer, no. When a merchant complained on the App Store in November 2025 that the fee had climbed from $8.99 to $16.99 to $19, Logbase replied in public with the account history: that store installed in September 2024, paid $8.99 while it sat in the 51-500 order band, moved to $16.99 once it passed 500 orders a month, and would stay at a $16.99 ceiling — the $19 rate applied only to stores installing from that point on. So two different things were being felt at once: the order band doing what it says, and a list price that new installs pay and existing ones do not. It is a support reply rather than a published policy, so ask for it in writing if the grandfathering is part of your decision.

What should I weigh before buying Growth & Revenue software?

It depends on whether you have the bottleneck it solves. Small teams get the most out of this category when one clear problem is already costing real hours or revenue; buying ahead of that just adds cost and another login. Price it against the hours or lost deals it removes, not against its feature list, and start on the smallest plan that covers the job.
