Recurring themes from G2, Clutch and Trustpilot, read in August 2026. We have not run Wing Assistant ourselves, so this is other buyers' experience rather than ours. We summarise it here because the complaints are usually the part a vendor page leaves out.

- • Clutch clients rate cost 4.8 out of 5 and describe the assistants as genuinely qualified across a range of skills.
- • Unadvertised fees: early-termination penalties, higher rates for specialised roles like marketing or design, and add-ons for coverage outside normal hours. Ask for the all-in figure before signing.
- • A February 2026 Trustpilot reviewer reported paying, no suitable candidate being found, and the fee not being refunded. Check the refund terms specifically.
- • Live chat runs only 6 to 9 PM PST on weekdays and there is no 24/7 support.

How to actually use Wing Assistant
Wing has no self-serve signup; the shortest route to value runs through its booking flow. The vendor's how-it-works page describes the first step as a 15-minute call to identify which recurring work is landing on the wrong people; Wing then handles matching, setup and tool access, and says an assistant is up and running in under 48 hours. Everything after that lives in Wing Workspace, where the task queue, statuses and approval workflows sit. Coverage and billing decide whether the first week pays off. Wing's FAQ documents default availability of 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, with the client choosing that window as a single unbroken block rather than splitting it, so distributed teams should raise coverage on that call. Billing is the other snag: the FAQ lists a $35 per month card processing fee, waived for ACH and comparable bank transfers. Wing also asks for roughly 15 to 30 minutes a day of feedback in the first week, with most clients stepping back by week two; accounts that skip that calibration are where delegation stalls.
