Pricing (2026)
(2026) Credit-based AI website builder. Free: 100 credits at signup only, on a .wegic.net subdomain. Trial pack $2.99. Starter around $16/mo (40% off annual = $286.8/year) for 600 credits/mo (~$0.04/credit); Premium tier for 2,000 credits/mo (~$0.02/credit) adds custom domain and code export. A separate 'Wegic Cloud' balance ($1-20/mo) is consumed by AI image/video generation on top. Plans change — always verify the live price on their site.
Correction after re-checking: (re-verified 2026-07-23) Starter is $39.90/month or $286.80/year ($23.90/month) for 600 credits, and Premium $69.90/month or $502.80/year ($41.90/month). The Premium credit allowance is disputed between two of Wegic's own live pages: the help center lists 2,000 credits a month while the pricing blog still says unlimited. Refunds are limited to seven days after a first annual subscription, not a 14-day money-back guarantee.

The cheaper per-credit rate only kicks in on the higher annual tier, and premium AI media draws down a second 'Cloud' balance on top of your plan.
What Wegic does
AI website builder that generates and hosts sites from a conversation — credit-based, with custom domains and code export on higher tiers, and built-in image generation powered by ChatGPT Image-2 (upload a reference or prompt, drop the result straight into your design). It can also turn a single product photo or mockup into a ready-to-sell product page. A one-click optimize pass audits a published site for SEO and site-health problems and applies the fixes itself — vendor-announced in July 2026, and not something we have tested.
What buyers report about Wegic
Recurring themes from the buyer-review sites listed at the foot of this page, read in August 2026. We have not run Wegic ourselves, so this is other buyers' experience rather than ours. We summarise it here because the complaints are usually the part a vendor page leaves out.
- • Building a site by conversation genuinely works for someone who has never made one — clean interface, fast setup, and 2.5M people have used it.
- • There is a free plan to see whether the approach suits you at all.
- • There is no free trial of the paid plans and no refund policy — reviewers report being unable to get money back even after 15 minutes. Test everything you can on the free tier first.
- • Credits are consumed even when an edit fails. If you revise constantly, the headline $11.90 or $19.90 a month is not what you will pay.
- • Slow performance and crashes are reported.
- • No code export and limited control — you cannot take the site elsewhere.
When the paid plan is worth it
There is no free build tier. New users get a small amount of free credits, but Wegic's documentation describes those as credits to chat with the AI before generating your website; the first generation itself runs through a $2.99 trial package that covers one full website generation. Starter is the real floor: $39.90/month, or $286.80/year ($23.90/month), for 600 credits a month, publishing to wegic.net and removal of Wegic branding. Wegic's own blog rates 600 credits at roughly 15 AI-generated websites or 60 AI modifications.
Premium — $69.90/month, or $502.80/year ($41.90/month) — buys the thing most businesses need: a custom domain. Its credit allowance is where Wegic contradicts itself: the help center lists 2,000 credits a month while the pricing blog says unlimited, so confirm with support before you buy. Two constraints to price in: an upgrade "cannot be undone or downgraded", and refunds are limited to seven days after a first annual subscription, with no prorated refunds for partial periods.
How to actually use Wegic
Create an account at wegic.ai, open the Workspace and select [+Create Website]. Describe the site you want to Wegic's AI assistant, Kimmy, or upload a sketch — hand-drawn, photographed or digital — which it converts into a working site. The AI then produces a draft you refine with plain-language instructions such as "change the button color to blue" or "put About Us first". Budget for that: each AI-generated edit uses credits, and the amount varies with the size and complexity of the request.
Product Hunt reviewers report credits being consumed even when the AI does not make the change they asked for, so keep instructions specific. Publishing to a your-business-name.wegic.net address is a Starter feature, not a free one; a custom domain requires Premium and needs an A record plus a www CNAME, where DNS propagation can take up to 48 hours.
