Pricing (2026)
(2026) Starts with a free trial. At research time the public pricing was JavaScript-gated and not cleanly readable; the model is a continuously-synced translated clone of your existing site, typically a monthly subscription scaling by domain and traffic. Verify current rates in-app before committing. Plans change — always verify the live price on their site.
Correction after re-checking: (2026) Pricing is published on the pricing page behind an annual/monthly toggle that defaults to annual. The free tier is EUR 0 per month for 1 clone and up to 20 translated pages. Website plans run from EUR 49 per month invoiced annually for Business (3 clones, 400 pages), through Pro at EUR 79 (5 clones, 1,200 pages), to Premium at EUR 999 (20 clones, 50,000 pages). Billed monthly those three are EUR 59, EUR 95 and EUR 1,199. E-commerce plans run EUR 99 to EUR 499 per month invoiced annually (EUR 120 to EUR 599 monthly), and a 14-day free trial applies. Optional extras are billed separately: installation assistance (EUR 250 on Business, Pro and Expert; EUR 250 to EUR 950 on the e-commerce plans) and XML feeds (EUR 30 to EUR 75 per feed per month). Note: the package cards and the comparison table on the same page disagree on the Expert clone count, the Premium installation fee and the extra clone/pages add-on, so those figures are deliberately not used. What the pricing page doesn’t say
Two honest caveats. Second, it's machine translation under the hood, so quality varies by language pair; always have a native speaker spot-check high-stakes pages. (Public pricing was gated at research time — confirm current tiers yourself.)
What Clonable does
Creates a continuously-translated clone of your existing website — fast multilingual versions that stay synced as your site changes, without rebuilding it.
What buyers report about Clonable
Recurring themes from the buyer-review sites listed at the foot of this page, read in August 2026. We have not run Clonable ourselves, so this is other buyers' experience rather than ours. We summarise it here because the complaints are usually the part a vendor page leaves out.
- • Updates to your original site translate and sync automatically — reviewers name that as the thing that saves the ongoing work, not the initial setup.
- • Reviewers report standing up German, French, English and Danish clones in a single day, without hiring anyone or using an agency.
- • Translation quality is described as clearly better than Google Translate, cheap enough that a human can review the pages that matter.
- • The independent review base is thin and heavily weighted toward positive experiences. There is not much critical evidence either way — trial it on your own site.
- • It is a translated clone of your site, not a native multilingual build. Weigh what that means for your SEO setup before committing.
When the paid plan is worth it
The free tier caps at 1 clone and 20 translated pages (a one-time upgrade to 50 is offered). Business is EUR 49 per month invoiced annually (EUR 59 billed monthly) for 3 clones and up to 400 translated pages; Pro is EUR 79 or EUR 95 for 5 clones and 1,200 pages. The pricing page FAQ states the page total applies to all clones combined, so extra languages draw on the same allowance.
Higher tiers buy tooling as well as volume: the feature table lists AI proofreading as 1-2 texts on Free and 50-100 texts on Business, switches on site search from Pro, and backups from Expert. No subscription covers installation assistance (EUR 250 optional on Business, Pro and Expert), the feeds themselves (EUR 30 to EUR 75 per feed per month depending on package), or a non-translating clone (EUR 49 to EUR 249 on the e-commerce plans).
How to actually use Clonable
Create an account, then a clone: enter your domain without https:// or www, let Clonable detect the platform (the docs allow up to 10 seconds), and pick subfolder, subdomain or separate domain. In about a minute the clone is ready to preview; the vendor FAQ says it is ready to use within 10 minutes. What follows is DNS. Subdomain and separate-domain clones need A and AAAA records, with and without www, and the DNS article warns records are generally active an hour after setting but can take up to 24 hours depending on your ISP.
Subfolder clones need no DNS change, but the docs say one can currently only be created with the Clonable WordPress plugin (WordPress 6.0 or higher, PHP 8.1 or higher); other platforms are told to ask for a custom solution. Documented snags: Error 421 when a subfolder is not correctly registered in Clonable, an SSL name mismatch after deleting a clone in the dashboard but not the plugin, and a language switcher off by default.
