Vynaris is an early beta, and the savings figures on the homepage are the vendor's own; it says live routing statistics are still to be published.
developers running agents or apps on OpenAI- or Anthropic-compatible APIs who want requests routed to cheaper models where that is safe, with a receipt per request to check the savings.
you need an established vendor with a track record and compliance paperwork, always want one specific model, or cannot send traffic through a third-party gateway.

Vynaris is an API gateway, so what you pay is mostly the price of the models it calls for you. Every routed request is billed at the original provider list price of the model that actually served it, plus a Vynaris fee of 3% on your first $500 of usage in a month and 1% on the rest of that month; a $500 top-up switches to the 1% rate at once for that calendar month.
You fund it with prepaid top-ups from $20 by card or stablecoins; credit does not expire, and requests stop when the balance reaches zero, so there are no overages. Instead of top-ups you can take a fixed plan whose payment becomes API credit: S at $20 a month, L at $50 a month and XL at $150 a month, with unused credit rolling over.
L and XL also give access to Vynaris' own hosted uncensored models, priced per token from $1 per million input tokens, and allow payment in Monero at a 20% surcharge. The site labels the service an early beta. Plans change — always verify the live price on their site.

The routing fee comes on top of the model price, so if routing rarely picks a cheaper model you pay slightly more than calling the provider directly. Your traffic passes through a third party, which matters for compliance. The hosted uncensored models are aimed at authorised security testing only.
OpenAI- and Anthropic-compatible API gateway that routes each request to a cheaper model when evals allow it, with a receipt per request showing the model and cost. Prepaid credit, no overages.

The fixed plans are prepaid credit, not a discount: S, L and XL add exactly what you pay as credit. Start with a top-up and look at your ledger; a plan only helps if you want a predictable monthly charge. L and XL matter only if you need the hosted uncensored models for authorised security testing. Above $500 a month the routing fee drops to 1% either way.
Create an API key on vynaris.com and add credit with a top-up from $20, or pick a fixed plan. In your existing OpenAI or Anthropic client, change the base URL to Vynaris' endpoint, keep your SDK, prompts and tools, and set the model to auto. Send a few of your real requests and read the response headers: each one names the model that served it, the cost and the price you would have paid at list price.
Export the ledger after a day or two and check whether the cheaper models it chose are good enough for your tasks before you move production traffic.

The natural comparison is Direct provider APIs — Calling OpenAI or Anthropic directly costs the provider list price with no routing fee. Vynaris charges that same list price plus 3% on the first $500 a month (1% after) and in return routes requests to cheaper models when its evals allow it and shows the cost of every request.

Not according to the pricing page: there are no overages, and requests stop when your available balance reaches zero.
No. The pricing page says top-up credit does not expire and unused plan credit rolls over.
Vynaris says you only change the base URL in your OpenAI or Anthropic client and set the model to auto; your SDK, prompts and tool definitions stay the same.
