NeuroAdsNeuroAds Review (2026)

Customer SupportResearched assessment · by Daniel HaketUpdated 2026-08-19

The IT and productivity layer is where small, reliable tools quietly give you hours back — or, done wrong, add another login to babysit. So where does NeuroAds actually fit?

The honest bottom line. Worth it for small and mid-size Shopify stores that want a multilingual, catalogue-aware chat widget with product cards, order tracking and add-to-cart, and want to judge it on the genuinely usable free tier of 200 conversations a month. Skip it once you need a support desk with a track record, you cannot budget against a 'conversation' nobody has defined.

What NeuroAds does

Pricing (2026)

✓ Pricing re-verified 19 Aug 2026

(read 2026-08-19 on apps.shopify.com/neuroads-chatbot) Four tiers, priced by conversations per month. Free: 200 conversations, AI answers about products, collections and orders, rich product cards with add-to-cart, order status and tracking in chat, replies in the shopper's language. Starter $19 a month: 800 conversations, plus live human takeover and discount codes offered in chat, 7-day free trial. Growth $49 a month or $468 a year (save 20%): 3,000 conversations, plus a revenue and ROAS dashboard, A/B testing on the chat greeting, answer insights and Klaviyo, 7-day free trial. Unlimited $119 a month or $1,142 a year (save 20%): unlimited conversations, WhatsApp and Klaviyo, advanced reporting with CSV export, chat-only discount codes, removal of the 'Powered by NeuroAds' label, a year of conversation history and dedicated onboarding, 7-day free trial. All charges are billed in USD and recur every 30 days. Two things the pricing table does not settle: what counts as one conversation — a shopper session, a thread, a single message — is defined nowhere, and it is the only unit the whole ladder is built on; and the listing summary advertises a 30-day trial while every paid plan in the table shows seven days. The honest knock

The app is ten weeks old. It launched on 5 June 2026 and, as of 19 August 2026, has six reviews — all five stars, all posted between 7 and 15 August, by merchants who had had it installed for five, eleven and thirteen days. Nothing about that is suspicious on its face; new apps have new reviews. But six enthusiastic first impressions from people two weeks in tell you the setup is smooth and tell you nothing about what happens when the bot gets a refund question wrong in month four. On the same page, Shopify Inbox is free with 5,488 reviews. The listing contradicts itself on the trial. The summary at the top of the page promises a 30-day trial; the pricing table shows a 7-day free trial on all three paid plans. Assume seven days, because that is the number in the row you actually click, and check it in the charge screen before you rely on a month. And look at what it asks for. This app requests names, email addresses, phone numbers and physical addresses of your customers, plus geolocation and IP, sixty days of order history, your discount codes and your store pages. That is a defensible list for a bot that tracks orders and offers codes, and it is also a lot of customer data to route through a ten-week-old company on the strength of six reviews. Read the privacy policy, and check where the conversations are stored, before you switch it on for a store with EU shoppers.

When the paid plan is worth it

The conversation counts are the headline, but they are not where the tiers actually differ. Starter buys you the two things a free chat widget cannot do: hand a live conversation to a human, and hand a shopper a discount code. If you have anyone answering customer email at all, that is the step worth taking, and 800 conversations for $19 is the cheapest row on the ladder per conversation you are likely to use. Growth at $49 is where measurement arrives — the revenue and ROAS dashboard, greeting A/B tests, answer insights, Klaviyo. It quadruples the conversation allowance for two and a half times the money, so on volume alone it pays off above roughly 1,200 conversations a month. But the honest reason to be on it is the dashboard: without it you are running a sales widget you cannot attribute anything to. Unlimited at $119 is a different purchase again, and two of its lines have nothing to do with volume. Removing 'Powered by NeuroAds' from your storefront costs $119 a month, six times Starter — that is a branding fee, not a capacity fee. The other is conversation history: a year on Unlimited, unstated on every tier below it, which matters if you ever need to look back at what the bot told a customer. Ask what the retention actually is on Starter and Growth before you assume you can.

How to actually use NeuroAds

Stay on Free longer than feels necessary. Two hundred conversations a month is enough to see the two things that decide this app: whether the answers about your own shipping and returns policies are right, and how many of those 200 conversations were shoppers rather than bots. Before anything else, feed it your five most awkward real customer questions — a partial refund, a delayed order, a sizing edge case — and read the answers as a customer would, because it scrapes your policy pages in sixty seconds and inherits every ambiguity in them. Count your conversations for a full month before picking a tier; the ladder is built on a unit the listing never defines, so your own count is the only honest input. If you upgrade, take Starter for the human takeover rather than the volume, and set up who is watching that queue — a handover nobody answers is worse than no handover. And check the trial length in the charge screen: the page says both seven days and thirty. Distilled from apps.shopify.com/neuroads-chatbot, read 19 August 2026.

Best for: small and mid-size Shopify stores that want a multilingual, catalogue-aware chat widget with product cards, order tracking and add-to-cart, and want to judge it on the genuinely usable free tier of 200 conversations a month.

Frequently asked questions

Is NeuroAds secure and reliable enough to depend on?

Judge it on evidence rather than adjectives. Look for a published security page, single sign-on and role controls on the plan you would actually buy (they are often gated to higher tiers), a status page with real incident history, and a clear answer on where your data is stored. If the tool will hold anything sensitive, those four answers matter more than any feature comparison.

Who should not use NeuroAds?

Skip it if you need a support desk with a track record, you cannot budget against a 'conversation' nobody has defined, or routing customer names, phone numbers and addresses through a ten-week-old vendor is not a trade you want to make. Buying a tool to fix a problem you don't have yet just adds cost and another login to manage.
