NameRobot sells several naming tools. NameScore checks a name and returns a NameReport; it is a one-time payment, not a subscription, priced per number of reports, excluding VAT and marked as an offer for commercial use only, each shown against a higher regular price: 1 report $19.00 (regular $39.00), 5 reports $49.00 ($99.00), 10 reports $75.00 ($149.00) and 100 reports $249.00 ($499.00).
Namefruits, the AI name generator, is a one-time payment of $99 per naming project, with a free start where you collect words, rate examples and set preferences before paying for full access. The Naming Toolbox, with 100+ name generators and availability checks, is free to try; its premium membership is a subscription whose price is not printed on namerobot.com. Trademarkly, a trademark lookup, is described as free.
The payment FAQ lists PayPal, credit card, invoice and SEPA on request, and says EU customers without a VAT ID pay VAT. Plans change — always verify the live price on their site.

The automated trademark and availability checks are a screening, not legal clearance. NameScore is sold for commercial use and prices exclude VAT, which EU buyers without a VAT ID pay on top. We have not used NameRobot ourselves.
Naming tools for companies and products: a toolbox of 100+ name generators, an AI naming assistant, and paid NameScore reports that check availability, trademarks and the sound of a name.

NameRobot is priced per job rather than per month, which suits naming: you need it intensely for a few weeks and then not at all. NameScore charges per report, from $19 for one to $249 for a hundred, and Namefruits charges $99 once for a naming project with no subscription to cancel. The NameScore prices are shown as offers against regular prices twice as high, $19 against $39 for a single report.
Treat the higher figure as the price you may see later; the page gives no end date for the offer. Buy reports in the quantity you will really use. Five reports cost $49, under $10 each, which fits a shortlist; a hundred for $249 is an agency purchase. A report checks domains, trademarks, social media and app stores and scores the sound and effect of the name. Know what a report is not: a trademark check by a tool is a screening, not legal clearance.
For a name you will invest in, use the report to cut the shortlist and then have a trademark lawyer clear the winner.
Start free. Collect keywords and generate ideas in the Naming Toolbox, or begin a Namefruits project, where the first steps are free and you only pay the $99 if you want full access and individual proposals. Run your shortlist through Trademarkly, which NameRobot describes as free, to drop names that are obviously registered already. Then buy NameScore reports for the three to five names left, rather than single reports one by one: five cost $49 against $19 for one.
Compare the reports side by side on availability first and on sound second. Before you register the company or buy the domain, take the final name to a trademark professional in the markets where you will sell; the automated checks are a filter, not a clearance.
Distilled from NameRobot's own pages, read in a headless browser on 2026-10-07: the home page, namerobot.com/NameScore (pricing per NameReport), namerobot.com/Namefruits (the one-time project price), the Naming Toolbox page and the Toolbox payment FAQ. The Toolbox premium price is not printed on these pages and we did not read naming-toolbox.com. NameRobot is an Awin partner of ours. We have not used NameRobot ourselves.
Each column shows the vendor’s own published entry price, read on the date shown. Entry prices can cover different services or units, so check what each one buys. We do not average them into a score.

The natural comparison is Zoviz — Zoviz is in our dossiers too, but it designs the logo and brand kit after you have a name; NameRobot works one step earlier, on finding and checking the name itself. Many founders need both, in that order..
Read on 7 October 2026: NameScore is $19 for one NameReport (shown against a regular $39), $49 for 5, $75 for 10 and $249 for 100, one-time and excluding VAT. Namefruits is $99 once per naming project. The Naming Toolbox is free to try; its premium price is not printed on namerobot.com.
NameScore and Namefruits are one-time payments with nothing to cancel. The Naming Toolbox has a premium membership that the payment FAQ describes as a subscription.
No. It checks for existing trademarks, domains, social accounts and app store names and scores the sound of the name, which is useful screening. Legal clearance in your markets still needs a trademark professional.
Up to a point, and that point is usually set by your plan. Check whether brand kits, custom fonts, colour locking and template controls sit on the tier you would actually buy, since these are common upsells. Test it with your own assets during the trial rather than the demo content, which is always chosen to flatter the output.
