MoosendMoosend Review (2026)

MarketingResearched assessment · by Daniel HaketUpdated 2026-07-13

The IT and productivity layer is where small, reliable tools quietly give you hours back — or, done wrong, add another login to babysit. So where does Moosend actually fit?

What Moosend does

Email marketing and automation platform \u2014 drag-and-drop campaigns, automation workflows, landing pages and a separate Social AI tool, with a low entry price and a free trial.

Pricing (2026)

(2026) Free trial. The Pro email-marketing plan starts around $9/mo (about $7/mo with annual billing, saving ~20%) and scales with your subscriber count; pay-as-you-go email credit packs are also available (e.g. 350,000 credits for $350). A separate 'Social AI' product is priced on its own ($5 Starter, $15 Pro). Enterprise is quote-based. Plans change — always verify the live price on their site.

Best for: small businesses and marketers who want affordable email marketing and automation with a low entry price, a real free trial and a clean drag-and-drop builder.

The honest knock

The friendly $7-9 headline is the entry rate at a small list size — Moosend's email pricing scales with your subscriber count, so as your list grows the monthly bill climbs with it, and the lowest rate assumes annual billing. Watch the two products too: the $5 you may see advertised is the separate Social AI tool, not email marketing.

The natural comparison is Mailchimp — Mailchimp is the recognized incumbent that gets pricey as your list grows; Moosend undercuts it on entry price with comparable automation — just watch how the per-subscriber tiers climb as you scale. Decide by which one fits the job above, not by the louder brand.

My ex-banker filter is simple: does Moosend remove a real cost — time, errors, missed revenue — bigger than what it charges? If the job above is genuinely yours, it's worth a look. We never publish fake or “exclusive” prices, so always confirm the current plan on their site.

Frequently asked questions

Is Moosend secure and reliable enough to depend on?

It depends on the job. Moosend is best for small businesses and marketers who want affordable email marketing and automation with a low entry price, a real free trial and a clean drag-and-drop builder; if that's you, it tends to pay for itself in saved time. If not, hold off. We don't publish fixed prices because they change — check Moosend's live pricing before deciding.

Who should not use Moosend?

Skip it if you run a very large list where per-subscriber pricing adds up, or you only need transactional/API email — a developer-focused sender is cheaper for that. Buying a tool to fix a problem you don't have yet just adds cost and another login to manage.
