LucrovoxLucrovox Review (2026)

Communication & VoiceResearched assessment · by Daniel HaketUpdated 2026-08-27

The meter is AI-handled calls: Starter’s 100 calls a month is roughly three a day, so a genuinely busy shop outgrows it quickly — and the steps are steep ($199 → $499 → $999).

Best for: local service businesses — HVAC, plumbing, roofing, med spas — losing revenue to missed calls who want a 24/7 AI receptionist that books jobs straight into Google Calendar, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan or Jobber.

Entry price per month, USD. Our own dated readings of 6 communication & voice tools — not a market survey, and cheapest is not best.

The phone agent has three published tiers and the plan table is back on the page: Starter $199 a month for up to 100 AI-handled calls, Pro $499 for up to 500 calls with CRM integration and advanced lead qualification, Enterprise $999 for up to 2,000 calls with white-label branding and multi-location support. Higher volume is quote-only. Starter and Pro carry a 14-day trial, Enterprise 30 days.

On our previous reading, 17 August, the pricing page opened with a missed-call ROI calculator and the tier list could not be retrieved at all; it is worth knowing that the plan table on this site comes and goes, and that the calculator's outputs ($500 average job value producing $750 a week and $39,000 a year of lost revenue) are illustrations rather than prices.

LucroChat, the website chat product from the same vendor, sits on lucrovox.com/lucrochat with its own table metered on monthly conversations rather than calls: Starter $29 for up to 1,000 conversations on one website, Growth $59 for up to 3,000 conversations on up to three websites, Professional $199 for up to 10,000 conversations on unlimited websites, each with a 14-day trial and no card required.

Its own FAQ agrees, describing pricing as starting at $29 a month for 1,000 conversations. One number on that page does not agree with the rest: the ROI calculator above the table reports its result “Based on Growth plan ($99/mo)” while the table prices Growth at $59. Read the plan table, not the calculator. Two products, two meters, one domain — price them separately. Plans change — always verify the live price on their site.

What the pricing page doesn’t say

Lucrovox pricing page
Lucrovox’s own pricing page Aug 2026. Prices change — always check the live page.
The catch

The ‘callers can’t tell it’s AI’ claim is the vendor’s own: they offer a live demo number, so test that before you commit. One more thing to read carefully on the sibling product's page. LucroChat's ROI calculator reports its return “Based on Growth plan ($99/mo)”, while the plan table on the same page prices Growth at $59 a month (both read 24 August 2026). The $99 is the higher of the two, so nobody is being lured with a low number, but a page that quotes two different prices for one plan is a page whose figures you check at checkout rather than take on trust.

What Lucrovox does

AI phone agent for local service businesses — answers missed calls, books jobs and captures leads 24/7 for trades like HVAC, plumbing and roofing.

When the paid plan is worth it

LucroVox does not publish flat dollar prices; tiers are differentiated purely by monthly call volume, and an actual price only appears once you start checkout. The Starter tier covers up to 100 AI-handled calls a month, which suits a business whose current inbound volume sits near or below that, since exceeding the cap is the concrete trigger to move up. Pro, capped at 500 calls a month, also adds CRM integration and advanced lead qualification, features Starter does not include at all, so a business that wants call data flowing into an existing CRM needs Pro regardless of how many calls it actually takes.

Enterprise raises the ceiling to 2,000 calls a month and adds white-label branding and multi-location support. What upgrading does not solve: any call the AI cannot fully resolve still gets transferred to a live person or left as a flagged message, on every tier. A higher plan buys more automated call capacity, not less reliance on your own staff for complex or edge-case calls.

How to actually use Lucrovox

Setup starts with signing up for a plan: Starter and Pro carry a 14-day free trial, Enterprise a 30-day trial. You provide business details, a preferred call script and qualifying questions, and calendar access, connecting Google Calendar, Calendly, HousecallPro, ServiceTitan, Jobber, or another CRM, with anything else needing a custom API integration. No coding is required. LucroVox states most businesses go live within 48 hours of signing up, with billing on the 14-day plans starting on day 15.

The practical snag: CRM integration and advanced lead qualification sit behind the Pro tier, not Starter, so a business that signs up for Starter to test the waters and then finds it needs CRM sync has to upgrade mid-trial. Businesses running a system outside the listed integrations are pointed to a custom API build rather than a ready-made connector, which adds development work before the AI can actually book into that calendar.

The catch
You're paying premium rates for real human receptionists billed per minute — worth it when a missed call is a lost client, but expensive if your call volume is low or an AI answering service would do the job for a fraction.
Best for
client-driven service businesses (law, home services, clinics) where a live human answering every call directly wins business

Both names above are affiliate links: we may earn a commission if you sign up, at no extra cost to you. Neither changes what this table says: both columns come straight from the vendors’ own pricing pages.

The natural comparison is Ruby — Ruby is the established human-receptionist service; Lucrovox is the AI route with published per-plan pricing from $199/mo — cheaper per call at volume, so decide how much ‘human’ your callers actually need.

Frequently asked questions

What does Lucrovox cost?

Our dated reading gives $199 a month for up to 100 AI-handled calls, $499 for up to 500 with CRM integration, and $999 for up to 2,000 with white-label and multi-location. On 17 August 2026 we could not re-confirm those from the page itself: it now leads with an ROI calculator rather than a plan table. Ask for the current tier list in writing.

What are the numbers on their page actually measuring?

Not price. The figures that dominate the page — $750 a week, $39,000 a year — come from a calculator that multiplies your missed calls by an assumed $500 job value and a 30% close rate. Those are defaults you can change, not measurements of your business, so treat the output as an illustration rather than a forecast.

What decides which tier I need?

Call volume: the tiers are bounded at roughly 100, 500 and 2,000 AI-handled calls a month. Count the calls you currently miss rather than the calls you receive, since that is the volume the service is meant to catch.

What should I weigh before buying Communication & Voice software?

Generally yes, since this category is built for it, but the details that bite are timezone handling, how per-seat cost scales as the team spreads, and whether numbers, routing or coverage exist in the countries your people actually sit in. Availability varies far more by country than the marketing pages suggest, so check your specific regions before committing.
