If you are on Shopify Plus, the price block on the listing is not the one you pay from — the three published tiers exclude Plus stores in their own text, and the tier that covers you is $24.99 in a help-centre article.

Four paid tiers, billed in USD every 30 days through Shopify, and the Shopify listing prints only three of them. On apps.shopify.com/super-gift-wraps: Basic is $9.99 a month or $83.92 a year for a paid or free gift message and a gift receipt that hides prices; Advanced $12.99 or $109.12 adds one paid or free gift wrap and an animated gift label; Pro $19.99 or $167.92 adds unlimited wraps, pop-up and checkbox display types, cart and product-page placement, custom images and gift revenue reporting.
All three carry a 7-day trial, and all three say in the plan card itself: all stores except Shopify Plus stores. The fourth tier lives in the vendor's own pricing article on effectify.help, stamped 28 July 2026 and read 12 September 2026 — Plus Plan, $24.99 a month or $149.94 a year, Shopify Plus merchants only, everything in Pro plus the gift options inside the actual checkout page through Checkout Extensibility.
That gap matters, because showing gift options in the Plus checkout is one of the five bullets at the top of the listing and the tier that delivers it is not in the listing's price block. The free plan in the listing header is the Development tier: development and partner stores only, Pro features, billing switched on when the store's Shopify plan is.
One arithmetic note on the annual prices. The article says annual billing saves about 30%, which holds for Basic, Advanced and Pro; on its own Plus figures, $149.94 against twelve months of $24.99, the saving is exactly 50%. Plans change — always verify the live price on their site.

Beyond that, this vendor moves prices without announcing it. On 24 August 2026 another Effective Apps title, TnC, carried a ladder we had verified the day before; twenty-four hours later every tier had gone up with no change to the feature lists. Treat any price for this developer that is older than the day you read it as a guess, this one included. The review base is broad and middling: 4.7 over 254 reviews on 12 September 2026, 227 of them five-star but seven at one star, on an app listed since 17 August 2020.
The app reads customer device and activity data and can view and edit products, orders and the Online Store. And be honest about what it sells. Gift wrap lifts average order value at the margin, so the app has to clear $9.99 to $24.99 a month in extra gift revenue before it pays for itself — and the revenue reporting that would tell you whether it does only arrives on Pro at $19.99.
Shopify gift app that adds paid or free gift wrap, gift boxes, greeting cards, a gift message and a price-hiding gift receipt to the product page, cart or Plus checkout, and tags those orders automatically for fulfilment. Basic $9.99 a month or $83.92 a year, Advanced $12.99 or $109.12, Pro $19.99 or $167.92; the free plan in the listing is for development stores only, and the $24.99 Plus tier that puts gift options inside the Shopify Plus checkout appears only in the vendor's own pricing article. The natural comparison is Wrapin — Gift Wrap & Options — They sit in the same aisle of the Shopify App Store, and on the day we read the listings Wrapin carried the longer record: 4.9 over 372 reviews against 4.7 over 254 (12 September 2026). For a small store, though, the honest comparison is neither app. A gift-message line-item property in your theme costs nothing and covers the message, which is the feature most stores actually want. Super earns its $9.99 to $24.99 at the point where you charge for wrapping, offer several wrap options, need the gift receipt to hide prices, or want the checkout-page placement that only its unlisted Plus tier provides.

The ex-banker filter — the same yardstick on every review (how we review): My ex-banker filter is simple: does Super remove a real cost — time, errors, missed revenue — bigger than what it charges?
Check your platform and version specifically. Shopify support is close to universal in this category, while WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento and headless setups vary a lot, and 'supported' sometimes means a generic API rather than a maintained app. A listing in your own platform's app store, with recent reviews there, is a better signal than the vendor's logo wall.
