LivestormLivestorm Review (2026)€2.50 Per Attendee, Per Session

Growth & RevenueResearched assessment · by Daniel HaketUpdated 2026-09-06

This is a bet on attendance that you place a year in advance. Throughout this review we weigh it against Zoom Webinars.

Best for: teams running a predictable programme of webinars to a known audience size, where buying a year of attendance up front is cheaper than a per-seat platform.

Pricing (2026)

✓ Pricing re-verified 5 Sep 2026

There is still no plan price. Pro is sold as attendee credits, bought as a yearly pack up front, with sessions up to 4 hours and unlimited team members; Enterprise is quote-only with sessions up to 12 hours. The rate depends on the currency you pick on the page, and the two are not conversions of each other: €2.50 per attendee in euros, $3.00 in dollars.

Their own definition, worth reading twice because it decides your bill: one credit is spent for each unique participant, per session, over a 12-month period. Someone attending two different sessions costs 2 credits; the same person joining live and later watching the replay of that session counts once. Registrants who never show up cost nothing, and your own team members never consume credits.

New since August: the FAQ now says what happens when the pack runs out — you get alerts as you approach the limit, and once you reach it new attendees cannot join a session until you move to a higher yearly tier. What still is not answered anywhere on the page is what becomes of credits you have not used at the twelve-month mark. Plans change — always verify the live price on their site.

What the price did

We capture Livestorm’s own pricing page every month and keep the figures, so this is our record of the page — not a forecast, and not someone else’s summary.

The unit price has not moved: €2.50 per attendee credit appears in our July 2026 capture, in the August 2026 capture and on the page when we re-read it on 17 August 2026. Livestorm publishes no plan price to compare, so this single figure is the whole price history — which is itself useful, because a per-attendee model only stays honest if the per-attendee number holds.

The honest knock

You buy credits up front — €2.50 each in euros, $3.00 in dollars, set separately rather than converted — and a credit is spent per unique participant per session, so a four-part series to the same 200 people is 800 credits, not 200, which is €2,000. A webinar that does better than expected runs you out, and the page is now clear about what that means: new attendees cannot join until you buy a higher tier.

The page publishes the per-attendee rate but never a total. Before you commit, count sessions times expected attendees for the whole year, and ask what happens to unused credits at the twelve-month mark, because the page does not say.

What Livestorm does

Browser-based webinars with registration, automated emails, polls and analytics. There is no plan price: Pro sells attendee credits at €2.50 each, bought a year up front, and one credit is spent per unique participant per session — a four-part series to 200 people costs 800 credits.

What buyers report about Livestorm

Recurring themes from the buyer-review sites listed at the foot of this page, read in August 2026. We have not run Livestorm ourselves, so this is other buyers' experience rather than ours. We summarise it here because the complaints are usually the part a vendor page leaves out.

What they praise
  • Browser-based with no download for attendees — that removes the single biggest friction point in running a webinar, and reviewers name it first.
  • All-in-one registration, hosting and follow-up in one tool.
What they complain about
  • Pricing is by active contacts, not attendees. Pro includes 100; a webinar with 200 registrants means buying extra contact packs, and that scales fast.
  • Real usage lands at $99-$299+ a month against Zoom at $15 — reviewers make that comparison directly.
  • Essential features are paid add-ons, which is why the total comes in above expectations.
  • The free plan is 30 attendees and 20 minutes. Branding and email customisation are limited.

What a credit actually costs you

There is no plan price. Pro is sold as attendee credits bought as a yearly pack up front, at EUR2.50 each in euros or $3.00 in dollars — two rates set separately rather than one converted into the other, so the currency you buy in is part of the decision. The definition of a credit is the whole of the rest of it: one credit is spent for each unique participant, per session, over a twelve-month period.

Per SESSION. A four-part series to the same 200 people is not 200 credits but 800 — EUR2,000 rather than EUR500. The rules that work in your favour are worth knowing too. No-shows cost nothing. Someone who joins live and then watches that session's replay counts once. Team members never consume credits, so internal dry runs are free. What moving up cannot fix is the timing, because you buy a year of attendance in advance.

Run the pack out and the page is now explicit: new attendees cannot join until you buy a higher tier.

We checked this price twice

Our monthly capture read this vendor's pricing page in July 2026 and again in August 2026, and the amounts were the same both times. We keep watching — the registry records what moves.

How to actually use Livestorm

Count sessions multiplied by expected attendees for the whole year before you buy anything, because you buy the pack up front and the unit is not what most people assume. One credit is spent per unique participant, per session, over a twelve-month period — so a four-part series to the same 200 people is 800 credits, not 200. Check which currency you are quoted in before you compare this to anything.

The page sells the same credit at €2.50 in euros and $3.00 in dollars, and those are separate prices rather than one converted into the other. Two parts of the definition work in your favour: registrants who never show up cost nothing, so budget on expected attendance rather than sign-ups, and your own team never consumes credits. Ask what happens to unused credits at the twelve-month mark, because the page still does not say.

It does now answer the opposite question — run out mid-year and new attendees are turned away until you upgrade.

Distilled from Livestorm's own pricing page (livestorm.co/pricing), read 5 September 2026 in a browser — the Pro and Enterprise cards with their session-length and team-member lines, the attendee-credit calculator read in both its euro and its dollar setting, and the pricing FAQ underneath, where the definition of an attendee, the treatment of team members and no-shows, and the answer on reaching your quota are set out.

The natural comparison is Zoom Webinars or Demio — the usual alternatives — both price per host per month, so compare that against your credits divided across a year. Weigh it against Zoom Webinars on the job you actually need done.

Frequently asked questions

How does Livestorm's pricing actually work?

You buy a yearly pack of attendee credits at €2.50 each and spend one credit per unique person per session over a 12-month period. Two sessions attended by the same person cost two credits; joining live and then watching that session's replay costs one. Read on 17 August 2026.

Do I pay for people who register and never turn up?

No. Livestorm states that only real participants count — people who join live, watch a replay or watch on demand — so no-shows cost nothing. That is the meaningful difference from seat-based webinar tools, where you buy a room size and pay for it whether it fills or not. Your own team members are also free.

Is there a Livestorm coupon or lifetime deal?

We have found neither, and both are searched for. Because the product is sold as prepaid credits rather than a subscription, the lever that exists is volume: you buy the pack that matches your expected attendance, and unused credits sit in the 12-month window. Size the pack from last year's actual attendance rather than from registrations.

What should I weigh before buying Growth & Revenue software?

It depends on whether you have the bottleneck it solves. Small teams get the most out of this category when one clear problem is already costing real hours or revenue; buying ahead of that just adds cost and another login. Price it against the hours or lost deals it removes, not against its feature list, and start on the smallest plan that covers the job.
