The ladder was rebuilt since our July read: the Growth tier at $500/mo is gone, and Business is now $2,000/mo instead of $1,250. What is left is three tiers. Free Preview costs nothing and covers 1 AI agent, 10 conversations and up to 50 training materials. Business is $2,000/mo on both monthly and yearly billing. It adds conversations for websites with up to 50,000 monthly visitors — the table labels this "Limited", and unlimited conversations now sit on Enterprise — up to 500 training materials, visitor intelligence, proactive live chat in HubSpot, 2-way HubSpot sync, 3 playbooks, a webhook and implementation by their team.

Its Voice AI carries 300 voice minutes a month, and $0.25 per minute after that. Enterprise is on quote, adding extra agents, Salesforce and Marketo, SSO, active engagement, API access and dedicated hosting. Two side products are priced separately on the same page: the booking system is free or $30/mo ($24/mo billed yearly), and the Expertise Assistant is free, $50/mo per user ($40 billed yearly) or custom. The catch

When we re-read the pricing page on 15 August 2026, the $500/mo Growth tier had been withdrawn. So the ladder runs straight from a Free Preview capped at 10 conversations to Business at $2,000/mo. And everything that makes the product genuinely powerful — visitor intelligence that de-anonymizes traffic, the 2-way HubSpot sync, Voice AI — sits on that paid tier. There is no way to grow into it gradually. It's also a RAG agent, so it's only as good as the docs you feed it: give it thin content and it can answer buyers confidently but wrong. Strong for HubSpot-centric B2B teams; less compelling if you're not in that ecosystem.

What Expertise AI does

AI sales agent for B2B websites. Replaces a static chatbot with a live, RAG-grounded agent that holds buying conversations, qualifies visitors and routes them to reps or calendar slots — HubSpot-first, with visitor intelligence.

What buyers report about Expertise AI

Recurring themes from the buyer-review sites listed at the foot of this page, read in August 2026. We have not run Expertise AI ourselves, so this is other buyers' experience rather than ours. We summarise it here because the complaints are usually the part a vendor page leaves out.

What they praise
  • 4.8 to 4.9 across 46+ reviews — early sentiment is strong, and the 2025 rebrand from ChatSimple brought agentic capabilities, deeper CRM integration, Voice AI and visitor intelligence.
  • The free plan gives 50 training materials, 10 AI sessions a month and HubSpot integration, so you can see the shape of it before paying.
What they complain about
  • Reviewers name the jump from the free tier to a paid one as the main obstacle. They wrote that when Growth cost $500 a month and Business $1,250; on the pricing page of 15 August 2026 Growth is gone altogether and Business is $2,000 a month, so the gap they complained about has widened rather than closed.
  • Past 1,000 conversations on the advanced model you pay $0.10 per overage before it falls back to the base model.
  • Training it on accurate qualification criteria is real setup work, not a switch.
  • It is narrowly built for B2B sales. As general customer support it is the wrong tool.
  • 46 reviews is early-adopter enthusiasm rather than a tested verdict.

When the paid plan is worth it

The most useful thing we can tell you about this ladder is that it changed under us. When we read it in July there was a Growth tier at $500 a month and Business sat at $1,250. By 15 August the Growth tier was gone and Business had become $2,000. So anyone who would have bought the middle plan now faces a $2,000 entry price instead of $500 -- a fourfold step, created by removing a rung rather than by raising a price.

What is left is a free preview and one paid plan. Free Preview covers 1 AI agent, 10 conversations and up to 50 training materials, which is an evaluation rather than a usable tier. Business at $2,000 no longer buys unlimited conversations: as of 3 September 2026 the plan table calls them "Limited" and defines the allowance as "conversations for websites with up to 50,000 monthly visitors", with unlimited moved up to Enterprise.

It adds up to 500 training materials, visitor intelligence, proactive live chat inside HubSpot, two-way HubSpot sync, Voice AI with 300 minutes a month and $0.25 per minute after that, 3 playbooks, a webhook and implementation by their team. Enterprise is quote-only and is where extra agents, Salesforce and Marketo, SSO, API access and dedicated hosting live. One unusual detail worth noticing: Business costs the same $2,000 on monthly and on yearly billing.

There is no discount for committing, so there is no financial reason to sign for a year -- take the monthly and keep the option. Two side products are priced separately on the same page and are much smaller purchases: the booking system is free or $30 a month ($24 billed yearly), and the Expertise Assistant is free, $50 a month per user ($40 yearly), or custom.

We watched this price move

Our monthly capture read this pricing page in August 2026 and again in September 2026. The $400 and $500 Growth rates disappeared and Business went from $1,250 to $2,000 a month. The page title now leads with 'Free & $50/User', which is the small-team price; the enterprise number behind it rose by 60% without a word on the page.

How to actually use Expertise AI

Prepare the documents before you switch anything on. This is a RAG agent, so it answers from what you feed it — give it thin or contradictory content and it will answer your buyers confidently and wrongly, which is worse than not answering. Gather your product pages, pricing rules, policies and the answers your sales team actually gives, and reconcile the contradictions first. Then spend the Free Preview's ten conversations on your hardest buyer questions, not your easiest.

Ten is genuinely all you get, and the question that has to be answered with them is whether the agent handles the enquiry that currently takes a salesperson twenty minutes. Understand what you are deciding, because there is no middle any more. The $500 Growth tier was withdrawn during 2026, so the ladder runs straight from a preview capped at ten conversations to Business at $2,000 a month — $24,000 a year.

Ask for an extended pilot before you commit to that on ten conversations' evidence, and check the two side products are priced as you expect: the booking system is free or $30 a month, and the Expertise Assistant free or $50 per user.

Distilled from the Expertise AI pricing page at https://expertise.ai/pricing — the AI Agent plan table, the per-plan "Plan Includes" list, the separately priced booking system and Expertise Assistant ladders, and the billing FAQ — plus expertise.ai/llms.txt. Both read 3 September 2026.

The natural comparison is Intercom Fin or Qualified — close conversational-sales/AI-agent platforms — Expertise AI leans HubSpot-first B2B; compare on visitor-intelligence features and tier pricing.

Frequently asked questions

What should I weigh before buying IT & Productivity software?

Judge it on evidence rather than adjectives. Look for a published security page, single sign-on and role controls on the plan you would actually buy (they are often gated to higher tiers), a status page with real incident history, and a clear answer on where your data is stored. If the tool will hold anything sensitive, those four answers matter more than any feature comparison.
