Browse.aiBrowse.ai Review (2026)

IT & ProductivityResearched assessment · by Daniel HaketUpdated 2026-07-23

The IT and productivity layer is where small, reliable tools quietly give you hours back — or, done wrong, add another login to babysit. So where does Browse.ai actually fit?

The honest bottom line. Worth it for ops, research and growth teams that want to monitor competitors. Skip it once you need one-off extractions, or mission-critical pipelines where you'd rather own the code than rent the robot.

What Browse.ai does

No-code web scraping and data extraction. Turn any website into an automated data pipeline or spreadsheet automatically.

Pricing (2026)

Credit-metered (2026): Free ~50 credits/mo (2 sites); Personal about $19/mo annual (12,000 credits/yr, 5 sites); Professional ~$69/mo annual (60,000 credits, 10 sites); Premium custom (600k+ credits, managed). A credit ≈ 10 extracted rows; premium sites cost more credits. Plans change — always verify the live price on their site.

The catch

Two honest realities of no-code scraping: credits burn faster than expected (row counts, screenshots and 'premium' sites all multiply the meter — monitor a big site daily and do the math first), and scrapers break when sites redesign — robots need maintenance, which is your time even when the tool is no-code. Also check the terms of the sites you monitor; 'technically possible' and 'permitted' aren't the same thing.

Best for: ops, research and growth teams that want to monitor competitors, prices or listings and pipe structured web data into sheets without writing scrapers.

The natural comparison is Octoparse or Apify — close scraping platforms — Apify is more developer-oriented; compare credit math on YOUR row volumes and site list. Decide by which one fits the job above, not by the louder brand.

My ex-banker filter is simple: does Browse.ai remove a real cost — time, errors, missed revenue — bigger than what it charges? If the job above is genuinely yours, it's worth a look. We never publish fake or “exclusive” prices, so always confirm the current plan on their site.

Frequently asked questions

Is Browse.ai secure and reliable enough to depend on?

Judge it on evidence rather than adjectives. Look for a published security page, single sign-on and role controls on the plan you would actually buy (they are often gated to higher tiers), a status page with real incident history, and a clear answer on where your data is stored. If the tool will hold anything sensitive, those four answers matter more than any feature comparison.

Who should not use Browse.ai?

Skip it if you need one-off extractions (free tools or a VA are cheaper), or mission-critical pipelines where you'd rather own the code than rent the robot. Buying a tool to fix a problem you don't have yet just adds cost and another login to manage.
