In Bread & Butter’s own words

Bread & Butter tracks the whole visitor journey server-side, starting from the first visit rather than from the moment someone converts. When an email does come in, it enriches and scores that profile and can start nurturing it, so the history before the form submission is not lost.

Pricing is per website, which is the detail to plan around if you run more than one: AI Enabled Pro is $49 a month per site, with 5,000 lead profiles. There is a fully functional 30-day trial that drops to a free tier afterwards rather than cutting you off — 200 lead profiles, unlimited traffic.

Our independent review covers where the per-site model starts to bite and what the profile ceilings mean in practice.

Genuinely good for

marketing and revenue teams that want engaged visitors — people who filled a form or left an email — automatically enriched, scored and nurtured, on a genuinely usable freemium tier

Skip it if

you want IP-based company guessing at anonymous visitors — that’s a different tool class (Leadfeeder-style) with a different accuracy and compliance profile — or you run many small sites, where per-website pricing adds up

The honest comparisonLeadfeeder — Leadfeeder guesses the company behind anonymous IPs — useful when it lands, though remote work and VPNs often return an ISP instead; Bread & Butter tracks behaviour server-side from the first visit and resolves identity when a visitor hands over an email.
