Every month we ask ChatGPT and Perplexity what the same 20 business tools cost (Report 02 counts where those answers point). Here we check what they say: every amount in every answer, against the vendor’s own pricing page as our Price Watch captured it the same morning.

Not on the page is not the same as wrong. An amount can come from another page (add-ons, a help article), from another region, or from converting an annual price to a monthly one. Those are exactly the amounts a buyer should check before relying on them, which is why we list every one below instead of calling them errors.
Amounts on the page, amounts we did not find, and amounts that match only in another currency, with the capture each answer was compared against. The full answer texts are in the study package.

AI answers: the query [tool] pricing for the same 20 tools each month, sent through the Cloro API to ChatGPT and Perplexity with a US location, on the 1st of the month. Official source: the vendor’s pricing page as captured by our Price Watch on the same date (the capture lists every amount it could read on the page). An answer is assessable only when that same-day capture exists and holds readable amounts.
Comparison: every amount written with a currency sign is extracted from the answer and compared with the amounts on the captured page, by exact value and currency. $0 is not scored, because free plans are often shown as the word Free rather than an amount. Our capture reads the page as it first loads, so prices behind a tab or a monthly/annual toggle can be missing from it; that is one reason an amount can be “not on the page”. Plan names, billing terms and included usage are not scored in this edition.
What stays open: whether an amount that is not on the pricing page is wrong. That needs a person to trace it, and we do that for the amounts that matter most in our reviews; this report counts, it does not judge.
