The listing says the yearly price saves 20%; a help article dated July 2025 says up to 50%, and the listing is the page you are billed from. Why did a customer pay for the free gift?
The help centre names two causes. Another discount code on the order that is not set to combine with product discounts can turn the gift back to full price, and a gift product priced at zero can be bought outside the offer. Give the gift a normal price and allow your other discounts to combine with product discounts.
How many gift offers can I run?
About 90 to 250, according to the help centre. The limit comes from Shopify, which allows 25 automatic discounts per store; the app fits roughly ten offers into each.
What should I weigh before buying E-commerce software?
Check your platform and version specifically. Shopify support is close to universal in this category, while WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Magento and headless setups vary a lot, and 'supported' sometimes means a generic API rather than a maintained app. A listing in your own platform's app store, with recent reviews there, is a better signal than the vendor's logo wall.
