 "summary": "Shopify app by Bold that predicts when each customer is due to reorder and nudges them at that moment by email, SMS, WhatsApp or on-site, with a one-click Smart Cart and tiered loyalty discounts instead of a subscription. Priced purely on results: free to install, then 3% of reorders completed within 24 hours of a nudge, 1% within seven days, and 5% on anything added beyond the reorder product — with no SMS, email, per-contact, push or app fees and no minimum. No ceiling and no volume discount either, so the bill scales with the result indefinitely. Launched 4 July 2025, 5.0 from nine reviews.",
 "best_for": "Shopify stores selling consumables or anything with a natural replenishment rhythm — coffee, supplements, pet food, skincare — whose customers refuse subscriptions but do come back, and who would rather pay for results than carry another monthly app fee",
 "skip_if": "your repeat revenue is already large, because an uncapped 3% overtakes any subscription app well before six figures; your customers buy once and rarely return, where there is no reorder moment to predict; or you cannot get comfortable with an app that can edit orders, discounts and the storefront",
 "honest_knock": "The pricing is honest and the arithmetic still deserves care, because this is a percentage with no ceiling on it. There is no cap, no volume discount and no tier: 3% of attributed reorders at $5,000 a month is $150, at $50,000 it is $1,500, and at $200,000 it is $6,000 — for the same software. Most Shopify apps stop charging more once you pass their top tier; this one never does. If rePete works, the bill grows exactly as fast as the result, which is the deal you are signing rather than a trap, but it is the opposite shape to every subscription app you are comparing it against.\n\nThe seven-day window is where I would push back. Direct Sales at 3% requires the purchase within 24 hours of the nudge, which is a strong causal claim. Assisted Sales at 1% counts anything that lands within seven days — and a customer who buys coffee, supplements or pet food every month was going to reorder in that window anyway. You will pay 1% on a quantity of revenue that would have arrived without the message, and there is no way to tell from the outside how much. Ask for the split between direct and assisted in your first month before you judge the return.\n\nThe highest rate sits on the smallest claim. Upsells and cross-sells are 5%, charged on any extra item added beyond the reorder product — so a customer who reorders and adds one more thing pays 3% on the first and 5% on the second. That is the most expensive rate on the page attached to the action rePete has the weakest claim to have caused.\n\nThe evidence base is thin rather than bad. Nine reviews, all five-star, the visible ones from early September 2026 and describing two to three months of use. That is real usage by named stores, and it is still nine.\n\nOne thing to read before installing: the data scope is wide. The listing asks to view sensitive customer data, and to view *and edit* customers, products, orders, discounts, shop analytics and the online store. That is consistent with an app that writes discounts and builds carts, but it is a lot of reach for a tool you are trying on a commission basis.",

Assisted Sales is 1%, charged on the same nudge when the purchase lands within 7 days. Upsells and cross-sells are 5%, charged on any extra items the customer adds beyond the reorder product itself.\n\nWhat the page rules out is as useful as what it charges: no SMS fees, no email fees, no per-contact fees, no push fees, no app fees and no minimums. So the messaging channels — email, SMS, WhatsApp and on-site — carry no cost of their own, which is unusual in a category where SMS is normally metered separately. There is no published ceiling, no volume discount and no negotiated rate: the percentages are the whole price list. The app is built by Bold of Winnipeg, Shopify's first front-end app developer and the team behind Bold Subscriptions; it launched on 4 July 2025 and holds 5.0 from nine reviews.",

  "name": "Easy Bundles, Essential Loyalty",
  "why": "All three meter on the revenue they influence rather than on your whole store, which makes them unusually comparable — and the difference is whether the meter sets a subscription or replaces it.\n\nEasy Bundles, from our own dossier (read 4 September 2026), charges a subscription gated on bundle sales: free up to $500 a month, $29 up to $3,000, $49 up to $5,000, $99 up to $10,000. Essential Loyalty (re-read 18 September 2026) does the same on loyalty-influenced orders: free to 250, $10 to 500, and up from there. Both put a ceiling on what you pay — at $10,000 of influenced sales Easy Bundles costs $99 and stops.\n\nrePete has no ceiling. At $10,000 of attributed direct reorders it costs $300, three times the Easy Bundles bill at the same revenue, and it keeps climbing. What you get for that is a floor of zero: install it, and if nothing reorders you pay nothing at all, where the subscription apps charge whether they worked this month or not. So the honest framing is a trade rather than a winner — rePete is cheaper than every one of them until it works, and dearer than all of them once it does. Run your own repeat revenue through 3% before you install, and decide whether you would be pleased or annoyed to pay that."
