It launched on 5 June 2026 and, as of 19 August 2026, had six reviews — all five stars, all posted between 7 and 15 August, by merchants who had had it installed for five, eleven and thirteen days. Nothing about that is suspicious on its face; new apps have new reviews. But six enthusiastic first impressions from people two weeks in tell you the setup is smooth and tell you nothing about what happens when the bot gets a refund question wrong in month four. By 9 October 2026 there were twelve, still all five stars. On the same page, Shopify Inbox is free with 5,488 reviews.\n\nIn August the listing contradicted itself on the trial: the summary promised a 30-day trial while the pricing table showed seven days. By 9 October 2026 the summary says only 'Free trial available' and all three paid plans show a 7-day free trial, so plan on seven days and check it in the charge screen.\n\nAnd look at what it asks for. This app requests names, email addresses, phone numbers and physical addresses of your customers, plus geolocation and IP, sixty days of order history, your discount codes and your store pages. That is a defensible list for a bot that tracks orders and offers codes, and it is also a lot of customer data to route through an app launched in June 2026 on the strength of a dozen reviews. The privacy policy (last updated 10 July 2026) answers part of it: hosting and storage on Amazon Web Services in the US region, order data fetched live rather than stored, and chat transcripts deleted 90 days after a conversation ends. Check that against your own obligations before you switch it on for a store with EU shoppers.",
