 "honest_knock": "The honest headline here is that the FX markup is published at all — 0.5% and 1% above interbank is a real number, and most competitors will not print one. What the page does not settle is everything around it. The Grow plan's platform fee 'varies with team size' with no table, so the $12 a user is not the whole subscription -- though their table does say the first ten Spend users are free, which is the part the headline rate hides in your favour. Chargeback and dispute fees are not priced anywhere, only mentioned as a feature. And the page's own disclaimer says per-transaction fees apply to certain transactions with the detail in a separate fee schedule. So: use the published FX rate to compare against your bank, then ask for the fee schedule and the platform fee before you move money. It also helps to know whose balance sheet holds what. The US page names Airwallex US, LLC as a licensed money transmitter (NMLS #1928093) that works with Lead Bank and Evolve Bank & Trust, both Member FDIC, for some US customers; the card is issued by Community Federal Savings Bank; and Yield is a brokerage product of Airwallex Capital US LLC that invests in AAA-rated money market funds, such as those from JP Morgan Asset Management. Support differs by plan too: the plan cards put a dedicated account manager and onboarding support on Accelerate only.",
